本单元话题为introduction & family。本课时重点教会学生用“this is”介绍家人，在复习字母aa至kk的基础上正确认读字母ll，mm，nn。
三年级学生的基础和学习能力参差不齐，教学中要照顾到学习有困难的同学，帮助他们跟上学习的整体步伐。thisis句式在第三单元cartoontime部分已有所接触，应不难理解，但family, father, mother, me都是首次出现。
