一、教材分析
本课是五年级上册第四单元“ what can you do?”，通过本课的学习，让学生懂得运用i can do…来表达自己能够做点什么。在学习过程中，我通过文中短语以直观的**表示出来，让学生容易掌握，同时激发学生热爱劳动的情趣。
让学生觉得自己“i am helpful at home.”
二、学情分析
五年级学生有了一定的英语基础，在说出 i can do 方面也应该能说出一些来，主要让学生从学习生活等方面入手，然后引去书本上在家的一些能力，这样我的目的就达到了。
三、教学目标
能力目标：1.能够听、说、认、读cook the meals、water the flowers、
sweep the floor 、clean the bedroom、empty the trash.
知识目标：2.掌握let's learn 的新单词、新句型。并能够运用所学的句型进行日常交际。
情感目标：3.养成讲究卫生热爱劳动的好习惯。
四、教学重点和难点
本课的重点是有关家务劳动的五个动词词组。
本课时的教学难点是正确书写四个动词词组以及运用句型“i can…”进行表述。
五、课前准备。
1、 教师准备课件。
2、 教师准备let’s learn 部分的动画。
六、教学步骤。
1、热身。t: what day is it today?
ss: t:what do you h**e on tuesday?
ss:2、 预习：师生对话。
t：from monday to friday, days for school ,what can you do at school?
ss: i can read, i can write, i can play….
t:you are very good! what can you do at home? who can tell me?
ss: i can ……
t: you are helpful at home.
t: woo! saturday and sunday, days for fun. do you like?
s: yes, i do.
t: what do you do on sundays?
s1: i often watch tv.
s2: i often read books.
s3: i often do homework and play football.
t: guess. what do i do on sundays?
ss: watch tv, read books…
t: yes, but i also help my mom do housework. i am helpful.
look! .教师做动作引导学生猜想，激发学生学习兴趣，学习用英语表达日常生活中我们能做到的力所能及的家务。
3.新课呈现：
let’s learn
1）教师出示扫地**，请学生描述**内容，教师边做扫地动作边说：look! i can sweep the floor.
i’m helpful! 同时板书：i’m helpful!
i can sweep the floor.然后教师问学生：can you?
引导学生拼读sweep 和floor，带读词组。
2）教师边做擦桌椅的动作边说：i can clean the desk. i can clean the chair.
教师指导学生练习：i can clean the ….然后拿出“clean the bedroom ”的词卡，说 i can clean the bedroom.
教学“clean the bedroom ”，板书并拼读。
4）看图说词组游戏：教师出示**，学生抢答，看谁反应最快，看谁说得最好，同时纠正错误发音。
5）学生听看动画跟读let’s learn 部分的词汇，同时做出相应动作。
6）教师指着黑板上的词组提问学生“what can you do?” 学生看板书齐答：“i’m helpful!
i can ….然后同桌直接互相操练。请两位学生表演问答对话。
4、巩固和延伸。

5、作业布置：
1)让学生做本单元let’s learn 部分的活动手册配套练习。记熟、读熟本节课所学单词。
2）让学生每天在家做自己力所能及的家务劳动，并尝试用英语表达。
