动名词作主语时，谓语必须用形式。

导学8. 动名词：动名词与现在分词形式相同，但是动名词具有名词的性质，在句中可以作主语、宾语、表语和定语。

句中的studying grammar作宾语从句的主语，study意为“研究”。
