step 2. presentation & practice
today is amy’s birthday, do you want to go to her birthday party ? look, this is amy’s home, let’s go and see.创设情境，直接引出将要学习的新单词。
出示卧室**，师问，what’s in this room？学生回答bed，师说 yes，a very nice big bed in this room。it’s a bedroom。
引出单词bedroom，bed+room让学生体会这个单词的发音。接着问is she in the bedroom ？生回答no，she isn’t。
巩固和练习了上一上节课出现的教学内容。师说where is amy ，let’s find her。出示**bathroom，师说：
what can you see in the room?生：i can see a bath .
师提示：bath --room. 生总结：
bath +room=bathroom.出示**kitchen并询问is she in the kitchen？生回答no，she isn’t.
再出示**living room，师问is she in it？学生依然回答no，接着老师进一步追问，what can you see in it？鼓励学生回答i can see sofa 、plants、a tv in it, it is a very big and clean。
并学习单词living room。
step3 consolidation and extension
游戏：寻找amy: amy，找不到了，就只发现了一张字条，只有能完成任务的人才能找到amy。
第一关，单词对对碰，能够迅速讲单词与**连接在一起。
第二关，幸运大转盘，转盘转到**，就把相对应的单词读出。意图是让学生反复练习本节课新学到的单词。
第三关，let’s do .教师请学生听指令，并跟着一起说一说。师生合作说指令，师说go to the living room。
生说watch tv.当说到bathroom时，呈现bathroom **。师说go to the bathroom.
ss: take a bath .
过关成功，寻找到amy，出示**，鼓励学生回答，i can see many books，a desk and a computer。师说good，it’s a study ，she is in the study。
出示生日蛋糕**，**想起，一起为amy 庆祝生日。
设计意图：游戏激发兴趣，内化、强化重难点。】
