教学过程】（一）热身、复习 (warm-up/revision)
1、学生一起唱《who is wearing yellow today?》
2、教师手指自己的衣服说：i am wearing a ….what are you wearing？
引导学生说出自己穿的衣服的名称，如： a shirt、jeans、black shoes….
二）呈现新课 （presentation）
let’s learn
教师说：it’s warm today.（指指外面） so we wear shirts or t-shirts.
today we are going to learn about the weather. now let’s watch a weather report.
教师**一段英文解说的天气预报实录。待学生看完后，教师说：this is a weather report.
同时呈现单词卡片，领读weather report（把卡片贴到黑板上）
教师要注意提醒学生读weather时，th咬舌尖。
教师**unit 4 let’s learn a部分的课件。学生**。
教师提问：is it a weather report?
学生回答：yes, it’s a weather report.
教师点出关于hot的**，然后问学生：look !what’s the weather like?
然后自答：it’s hot. 教师教授hot的读音和拼写。
然后编写一个简单的chant: hot , hot ,it’s hot.学生操练。
教师点击课件，展示“cold”**，然后问学生：look !what’s the weather like?
然后自答：it’s cold. 教师教授hot的读音和拼写。

用动作进行操练。
教师拿出扇子，用表情及动作表现出很舒服的样子，出示cool然后问学生：look !what’s the weather like?
然后自答：it’s cool. 教师教授cool的读音和拼写。
然后编写一个简单的chant: cool , cool ,it’s cool.强调cold 和cool的区别。
用“男女生交换读”进行操练。
教师点击课件，展示“warm”**，然后问学生：look !what’s the weather like?
然后自答：it’s warm. 教师教授warm的读音和拼写。
然后编写一个简单的chant: warm, warm ,it’s warm.学生操练。
强调“/ m /”的发音。用“高低声”进行操练。

点课件出示香港很热的图，再出示it’s hot in hong kong.

全班齐读后，请各组齐读各个句子。

1)两人小组活动。将城市名称卡片和天气卡片面朝下分别放在桌子上。学生a拿起一张写有城市名称的卡片，如kunming,说：
it’s kunming.学生b拿起一张描述天气状况的形容词的卡片，如cold，说：it’s cold.
然后，学生a说it’s cold in kunming.
2)师拿出小棒扮演天气预报员，再让生上台模仿老师扮演天气预报员。
