教材分析。本课为新标准英语第十册第六模块第一单元。主要**了amy和lingling周末去巨石阵的旅行计划，及其她们可能的所见所闻。
并教会学生用一般将来时态简单讨论事情。学生在三年级下册已经学习过一般将来时态的表达方式，因此本课主要是复习，巩固和提高。本课的语言功能是谈论将要进行的一次旅行，语言结构是what will we see there?

学情分析。五年级的学生虽然已经对一般将来时态有了一些了解，但对用一般将来时态描述将要进行的一次旅行，一些学生可能会有困难。这个时期的孩子心理上自我意识开始崛起，孩子交往的重心已经由家庭转移到了学校，而本节课话题就是两个好朋友谈论出去旅行计划，正适合训练本阶段孩子的思维意识。
但同时也需要教师的逐层引导，为学生创设语言情境，调动学生的学习积极性，完成本节课的学习目标。
教学目标。1. 知识目标。
单词：build, place, thousand, circle, answer, hope, so, get.
句型结构： what will we see there?
we’ll see lots of very big stones.
how will we get there? by car.
it will take three hours.
语法：一般将来时态结构及含义。

2.能力目标：能听懂课文大意，听懂一般将来时态的语境、语意。
能试着用一般将来时态简单描述一次旅行。能正确朗读本课所学单词、句子和课文。能正确写出本课单词。
并通过本节课的探索学习，培养学生的合作能力、竞争意识和综合运用语言知识的能力。
3.情感目标：使学生能对西方文化感兴趣，鼓励学生了解名胜，并且热爱自己的祖国。鼓励学生好好学习科学文化知识，探索未知世界，争取解开世界的未解之谜。
教学重点：理解课文中运用一般将来时态描述将要进行的一次旅行。
教学难点：在真实语境中运用本单元的核心句并拓展。
