教学内容：unit 5 let’s eat! 第六课时start to read/let’s check/let’s sing
教学目标：1.能够辨认字母的形。
2.能够认读本单元的核心词bread、juice、egg、milk、water、cake、fish、rice。
3.检测部分要求学生能够听懂、会说本单元的表达想吃的食物及回答和回应别人的谢意。
4.能够学会唱歌曲let’s h**e a picnic today。
教学重点：能听，说，认读本单元的单词，并能在句子中运用。
教学难点：对相似英语字母的区分。
课前准备：字母卡和食物**。
教学步骤：step 1、热身、复习 (warm-up/revision)
1. let’s sing “a b c song”
先**歌曲，让学生跟唱这首歌曲。
letter bunching （字母对对碰）
一组学生随意抽取一张字母卡，另一组学生出示这张字母的大写或小写形式，答对得一分，答错对方得一分。
设计意图】：用歌曲和游戏活动充分激发学生的兴趣，使学生在轻松的氛围中复习学过的知识，从而进入最佳学习状态。
step2、呈现新知 (presentation)

设计意图】：以小组为单位，以小组竞赛的方式激起学生的好胜心理，还能培养他们小组合作学习的意识。
step 3 start to read

2. read and count
ss practice the food wors with the food pictures.

ss read the words in the book, then count and write.
设计意图】：要求学生能够自主完成课本两部分内容，提高学生的学习自主性，同时也能够检验他们对所学内容的掌握情况。
step 4 let’s check
1. listen and tick
强调听力方法、技巧和注意事项。
2. look and match
学生先自己完成，然后对子互相检查。
设计意图】：这是本单元的最后一课时，在学完之后这部分是对学生所学单词在意义和认读情况的一个检验。
step 5 let’s sing
1）先**歌曲，让学生听听这里面出现了哪些食物的单词，呈现食物的**，让几个同学出示**，其余同学根据**唱歌曲。
2）教师鼓励学生用自己喜欢的食物替换歌曲中的食物单词来演唱。
设计意图】用歌曲来结束这节课，既复习了本单元的食物单词，又提高了学生继续学习英语的兴趣。
