一、教学目标
1. 能听、说、读、写动词词组cook the meals, water the flowers, sweep the floor, clean the bedroom. 能听、说、读动词词组empty the trash.
和句子 i ' m helpful! i can sweep the floor.
2. 学生能用英语描述五种家务劳动，并能根据实际流利的用 i can …自己会做什么家务。
3. 培养学生热爱劳动、讲究卫生的好习惯，教育学生养成自己的事情自已做的良好习惯。
二、教学重难点。
本课时的教学重点是let’s learn部分五种家务劳动的表达方法，要求学生做到四会，并能在情景中自然的加以运用。
三、教学过程。
step1 warm-up
1. greetings
t: what day is it todayss: it’s wednesday.
t: what do you h**e on wednesdays? ss: we h**e…
t: today we learn unit4 what can you do？let’s read together.
do. 出示四年级上册第一单元let’s do的**，学生齐读。
step2 presentation
(1) t: chenjie can do a lot of housework. can you do some things?
指名说会做的事情，引出sweep the floor.学生跟读并拼写词组。出示客厅、厨房等房间，让学生说：
go to thesweep the floor.当学生说正确的时候，老师说：you’re helpful.
2)出示一张很脏的教室**，让学生打扫教室引入打扫卧室。
学生拼读词组： clean the bedroom当学生说正确的时候，老师说：you’re helpful.
不断重复you’re helpful.这句话，让学生明白意思并学会说这句话。
3)由于打扫卧室有很多垃圾，the trash bin is full. so we must empty the trash.

step 3 practice
1) listen and read the new words.学生听音跟读词组。
2) pair work: what can you do ?
