教学重点】:
听、说、认、读并运用句型are there…?yes, there are. /no, there aren’t.
教学难点】:
在are there…?句型中用any;在实际情景中灵活运用以上句型获取信息。
教材分析】:
本课是pep人教版五年级英语unit 6 part b let’s talk的教学内容。上个单元已经学习了有关there be的相关句型,这是学好本单元的前提。另外,在本单元a部分有学习巩固了is there …?
yes, there is. /no, there isn’t.的学习。
为本节课are there…?yes, there are. /no, there aren’t .
的学习提供了很好的学习基础。是前面知识的加深。学生可以运用本节课所学的新句型结合以前的知识,把新旧知识进行整合,根据实际灵活运用所学句型,把知识活学活用。
教学过程】:
一、warming up
1、let’s chant(屏幕上出现课本p68 let’s chant歌谣)
2、free talk
t: is there a/an…?
s: yes, there is. /no, there isn’t.
3、let’s try
教师**part b let’s try的录音。
二、presentation and practice
1、教学句型yes, there are. /no, there aren’t.
1) t: boys and girls. this is a picture of dalian.
do you like dalian? why? let’s talk about it.
(屏幕出现一张大连现代城市面貌的**,同时出现there is/ are…的句型提示让学生讨论)
2)t: look, this is another picture of dalian. are there any tall buildings / many cars in dalian?
(屏幕出现另一张大连十年前的城市面貌**供学生讨论)
2、教学are there any …in the …?
1)教师根据大连现在的情况继续深入提问are there any …in dalian?(板书are there any …in …?yes, there are.
/no, there aren’t.并带读句子)
(2) t: look. who’s she?
ss: she’s xian dong mei .
t: where is she from?
ss: she’s from zhanjiang.
t: yes, you’re right. then do you want to know more about zhanjiang?
can you guess?(屏幕出现奥运冠军冼东妹的**,介绍她的部分背景资料资料,并让学生猜一猜她的家乡湛江有什么特色的地方?然后出现奥运冠军李宁、李小双、杨威等的**,以相同的方式进行教学)
3、教学课本中的let’s talk。
1)教师**录音,设置悬念:are there any tall buildings in the village?(屏幕出现此问题)
(2)教师再次**录音让学生听,然后根据对话内容判断对错。屏幕出现多个选择题目,①②供学生任意选择,点击数字,出现相关**和句子,让学生判断正确与否。见下列判断题:
there are buildings in zhang peng ’ s village.
there aren’t any buildings in sarah’s village.
there are some bridges in zhang peng’ s village.
there are short buildings in zhang peng’s village.
sarah lives in a city.
there are rivers in zhang peng’s village.
(3) 要求学生打开课本p74,听录音并跟读let’s talk。
(4)group work:要求学生根据屏幕上的句子提示进行对话练习。(屏幕上出现句子are there any …in …?
yes, there are. /no, there aren’t供学生作替换练习。)
4、practice: 教师发给每位学生尚未完成的城市或乡村**。
三、development and assessment
让学生做课堂练习。发给学生worksheet,屏幕显示补全对话内容,如下:
