第一课时 a let’s talk
一、教学目标：
1、能够独立完成let’s try部分听力内容。
2、通过情景教学理解let’s talk对话内容。
3、能听懂、会说重点句子“how tall are you ?i’m 1.65cm.并能在情景中运用。
4、能运用how tall are you？询问身高，并做出正确回答。
二、教学重点：
1、能听懂、会说重点句子“how tall are you ?i’m 1.65cm.并能在情景中运用。

三、教学难点： 小数的英语读法和单位的英语读法。
四、课前准备：
1、教师准备若干张**。
2、课件。3、身高量尺。
五、教学过程：
1、warm-up

课件出示恐龙，提示学生听录音，并正确完成。
2、presentation and practice

1）t: welcome to the dinosaur show.
教师通过课件以及情景引出文中对话，让学生理解，并认识个别新词：dinosaur， both…
2）情景演示结束后，教师根据**问，请学生来回答。
what can you see? how tall is it?
how tall are you? (进行量身高连续操练重点句子。)
老师回答后接着说：who is taller than you ?请比较好的学生回答此问题。
3）教师示范操练问句，教师问学生答，男女生互问，互答。
板书：how tall are you ?i’m …mrters. i’m taller/shorter….请学生做替换练习。
4）把**出示给学生，让他们进行强化训练。
例如：zhang peng is stronger than mike.同桌或小组间互相练习。
5）跟读let’s talk部分的对话。
6）欣赏歌曲“my small cat”.
3、consolidation and extension
1）做本单元a let’s talk部分的相关练习。
2）听a let’s talk部分的录音读给同伴、朋友或家长听。
3）两人小组完成let’s play。

第二课时 a let’s learn
一、教学目标：
1.能运用比较级单词进行比较。
2.能运用how tall are you？询问身高，并做出正确回答。
3.能运用本课内容做小调查并汇报。
二、教学重难点：
重点： taller/shorter longer/shorter三对形容词比较级单词。 tall are you？
i’m 1.61 metres.对于身高的询问与正确回答。
3.能用比较级进行比较。
难点：1.小数的英语读法和单位的英语读法。
2.能够在真实语境中熟练运用。
三、教学准备： 教学ppt课件，学生随堂学习材料。
四、教学过程：

通过两幅男人**引出old –young ,然后加入更老的和更年轻的男人**，启发学生领悟old—older ;young—younger 紧跟上出现例句 “steven is older than max. tom is younger than jack”学生操练句子，掌握“than”的使用。(板书 older—younger)
practice：try to make more sentences with your friends.
2. how tall are you?
how old are you?—how tall are you? 利用板书变化，帮助学生知识迁移。
学习用英语表示身高。1.61米—1 point 61 metres。
practice: chain game “how tall are you? i’m…metres.”
ppt**—刘翔和杨幂的合影 how tall is he/she？介绍身高引出tall—short，然后通过刘翔姚明合影引出姚明tall—taller；yao ming is taller than liu xiang.;通过杨幂郭敬明合影引出郭敬明short—shorter ;guo jingming is shorter than yang mi.
