1.知识目标：
1)引入几个蔬菜新单词：tomato， green bean, potato, carrot 及其复数形式。
2) 能够掌握三会句型：what are these? are these...及其简略回答。能结合实际情景运用句型。
2.能力目标：通过各种活动，进一步培养学生听，说，认读的能力。
3.情感目标：通过多种情景的活动，培养学生的合作交流能力和热爱大自然、保护环境的良好品德。
三、教学重难点：
重点：能“三会”询问蔬菜的句型what are these ?they are...
are these...yes, they are. /no, they aren’t.
从而开展一系列的活动和任务。
难点：掌握these 的发音。
四、教学准备：ppt课件，录音机和磁带，卡纸，小组竞赛图。
五、教学过程：
step1 warm-up
1. greeting
2.通过**引入几个蔬菜新单词：tomato，green bean, potato, carrot 及其复数形式。学生尝试说出蔬菜英语名称。

1. listen to the tape and answer two questions
1) how many people can you hear? who are they?
2) what vegetables can you see in the picture?
播第一遍录音，让学生听关键词，找出问题的答案，听第二遍录音，让学生核对自己的答案，再请个别学生回答，并一同核对答案。让学生大概了解录音内容。
2. ask ss to open their books and turn to page38
1)listen to the tape.
2)read after the tape and imitate pronunciation and intonation.
3)read after me.
4)read the dialogue in groups.（请3-4组学生朗读）

(2 ) 出示一些蔬菜让学生回答这是什么？引导学生会说：they’re ….
step 2 presentation

1) 教师出示carrot 卡片。
t：look at the carrots. they’re tall and short. i like them. do you like them?
2)教师拿出西红柿的**，教学单词tomato, 教师引导学生用句型： look at the tomatoes, they’re red, they’re yummy.
3、play two games:
1)藏**。
教师请两个学生将carrot 藏在课桌里面，学生越接近单词**就越大声，离**越远就越小声。（从中并教授potato: they’re big and small.
i like them和green beans: they’re long and short. i like to eat green beans.。
）2)火眼金睛： 教师快速闪现单词卡，学生快速说出对应单词。
let’s chant：
1)让学生看let’s chant的**，2) 引导学生说：i like tomatoes, green beans and potatoes. i don’t like onions, but onions make me cry.
2) **歌谣，学生听音模仿。带读歌词理解意思。

四人小组练习对话。

2、能力目标：学生能够根据or发音规则读出单词，并能够根据发音拼写出符合规则的单词。能将所学的英语在实际情景中运用。
3、情感目标：能够逐步做到见到符合发音规律的词能拼读，听到符合发音规律的词能拼写；呼吁学生爱护动物。

(如果学生不能说出来，可允许学生用中文说。)板书world map并带读。
