自觉预习课文，把本课动物及形容词制成**并茂的单词卡片。
二、教学课题。
1、认知目标：
1）能听、说、认读新单词：monkey,tiger,lion,elephant及其复数形式。（2）能听懂、理解、会说句型：
what are they? -they are并能在日常生活中实际应用。
2、能力目标：
1）培养学生小组协作学习的能力。
2）培养学生英语口头表达能力和实际运用英语的能力。3、情感目标：
1）鼓励和培养学生学会自主**学习。
2）渗透思想教育，倡导学生动物是人类的好朋友，要爱护动物。
三、教材分析。
本课是（外研社）新标准英语（三年级起点）第二册第二模块的第一单元，本课主要是学习动物以及描述动物的特征。教学重、难点：
1、能听、说、认读新单词monkey, tiger, lion, elephant及其复数形式。
2、灵活运用重点句型：--what are they? -they are monkeys / 3、激发学生学习英语的兴趣，培养学生自主、合作、**的能力，培养积极思维的习惯，促使学生体验成功的快乐。
四、教学方法。
直观教学法、tpr教学法、情景教学法、游戏教学法。
五、教学过程。
1．warming up
a. greeting.

the zoo, there are all kinds of animals in the zoo. now let′s recognizesome animals together.
课件出示动物的特征部位，让学生猜是哪种动物。出示猴子的尾巴、老虎的额头、狮子的毛发、大象的鼻子。）每出示一张**，先让学生猜中文，再教读这些新单词。 ok?
把准备好的单词卡和动物**拿出来，小组内练习。一同学说monkey，然后，手拿monkey卡片的同学和拿猴子**的同学亮出**，并大声说出来。（奖励小粘帖）
