hear sb. doing sth. 意为“听见某人正在做某事”。
hear 为感官动词，后面跟动词的ing 形式作宾语补足语，表示正在进行的动作。它后面还可以跟动词原形作宾语补足语，表示经常发生的动作或动作的全过程。
i hear them singing songs in the next room. 我听到他们正在隔壁唱歌。(正在唱歌)

at the end of……在……的尽头。作名词，意为“末尾，终点”，既可以指时间，又可以指地点。如：
