小学英语新课程标准》指出，现代小学英语教学强调语言运用，注重能力培养，突出兴趣激发，重视交流实践。学生在本学习内容，要从学生身边出发，从生活实践出发，密切联系生活，设计与创设学生喜爱的话题、情境，让学生在“身临其境”的交际环境中学习英语，运用英语。学生分析：
学生是小学四年级的学生，他们接触英语是第四年了，他们已经初步具有运用简单句子，表达自己的喜好与意愿。他们对很多事情一般很有自己的看法；也很在意别人要倾听他的意见与建议；他们很想把自己的想法与意愿表达出来，告诉别人；他们喜欢与别人共同分享他们的一切。把自己的“兴趣爱好”告诉别人，也想了解别人的兴趣爱好，就成为了本教学课时的交际中心内容。
教材分析：本单元处于pep第三册的第三单元。在本单元之前，学生已经初步具有一定的单词、简单句型的基础。
他们会懂得表达自己喜欢的漂亮的文具；他们会懂得表达自己喜欢的书本；他们会懂得表达自己喜欢的学科！而在本单元的教学过程中，让学生继续去“表达自己喜欢的兴趣爱好”，是起到了承前启后的作用，把知识点进行链接起来，把学生要学习的知识进行系统化。本教学课时的设计，更好地体现了学生知识点的一个提高、提升！
用生活贴近教学，更充分地发挥学生的学习积极性，打开学生学习的源头，焕发学习的强大动力。

让学生形成良好的生活习惯，积极参加体育运动，积极参加锻炼身体。
让学生在“听故事，学知识、明道理”的过程中，让学生认识到在集体中要团结合作、互相帮助，培养学生团结协作的集体主义精神。
教学设计思路：
用“story-telling”来设计教学环节，让学生在故事学习中操练、学习知识点。②让学生在“story-telling”发现英语教学中故事的巨大作用，用故事吸引学生、感染。

让学生在“story-telling”培养学生严谨的学习态度和与人交往的能力，明白人多力。
