一、教学内容。
unit 3 at the zoo. part b 第一课时，本课时包括let’s learn 部分的4个新单词“long, short, big, small”和let’s talk部分的相关句子。
二、教学目标。
1.知识目标：掌握单词long, short, big, small，及句型“it has …
2.能力目标：（1）能够听、说单词long, short, big, small。
2）能够用“it has….”来简单介绍动物的外貌特征。
3.情感态度：（1）培养学生的合作精神。
2）通过对动物外形的描述加深学生对各类动物的认识。
三、教学重、难点。
重点：对long, short, big, small这四个单词的学习和掌握。
难点：运用“it has….”来介绍动物的外貌特征。
四、教具准备。
1.录音机及与本科相关的录音材料。
2.动物**、单词卡片及人物头饰。

六、教学过程。
step1:warm-up

step2:revision
1. let’s do together --touch your nose.
2. let’s play --i point, you say!”
通过以上两个活动简单复习已经学过的身体部位单词，为后面的学习做好准备。)
step3:presentation
at the pictures. this is ….they are all animals.
they are at the zoo. (板书课题并朗读) now let’s go to the zoo and h**e a look at the animals.
展示不同的动物**，并设置一起去动物园观察动物的情境，激发孩子们的学习热情。)
2. t：come here, children!
look at the elephant! (板书并领读)。 look at the nose.
it’s …long. …a long nose … it has a long nose.
ppt出示大象**，引导孩子们观察大象的外貌特征，同时教授四个新单词及新句子。遵循由易到难的原则。用不同的方式进行操练。）
3. t:look at the elephant. let’s say together.
出示大象**及所有句子，领读，让孩子们整体感知本课内容。)
4. t：now let’s play a guessing game.
通过猜一猜的游戏，让孩子对刚学过的新句型 “it has….”进行进一步的感知。)
