在本节教学环节中，问答部分由程度好的学生完成，等所有学生都理解新单词的含义后，再由中下等学生练习，一方面巩固新单词，另一方面复习一些常用短语像go to school, do one’s homework等，为学习第二部分做准备。step2

在本教学环节中，学生根据教师的问题和描述，很容易猜出last summer的意思。教师先叫一名中等生猜，然后让优等生说短语，等所有同学都理解last的用法了在进行英汉互译练习，这样能让所有同学都参与能牢记last的用法。时间允许还可分组练习，比一比哪一组写出的短。
语更多。本教学环节的设置，既学习了新单词，又复习了一般过去时态，并把课文中用到的短语让学生提前接触，对于课文的学习理解起到很好的。

本教学环节分小组进行，以小组比赛的方式找过去式和句子，可以更快的完成任务。在完成任务的过程中，通过好帮差的方法，既可以解决问题，又能培养积极与他人合作，相互帮助的精神。并且可以培养学生独立解决问题的能力，充分运用先学后教的教学方法。
