在新闻或文学创作中,有时为了内容的需要,或是为了强调,作者常常运用倒装来制造悬念,渲染气氛。如:
朗费罗(longfellow)《雪花》(snowflakes)中的一节:
out of the bosom of the air,out of the cloud-folds of her garments shaken,over the woodlands brown and bare,over the harvest-fields forsaken,silent, and soft, and slow,descends the snow.
挣脱苍天的怀抱,冲出她摇摆的云蝶衣衫。
飘过棕色赤裸的林地
飞跃收割后的麦田
悄悄地,轻轻地,慢慢地
雪花飘落 英语高中写作在书面表达中阅卷老师喜欢看到的高级语法共有五种:倒装,强调,从句,独立主格和分词结构,以及虚拟语气。倒装是一种最简单易行的使句子呈现亮点的方法。
在高中阶段只需掌握倒装的六种形式,足以应对书面表达。
step2 structure imitation
一,全倒装:谓语全部放在主语之前。
1:there be句型中,如: many students are there in the classroom.
there are many students in the classroom.
小试牛刀:有很多学生参加了英语演讲比赛。
2:表时间或方位的副词 now,then,here, there, out, in, up, down, away, off等放在句首,句子完全倒装。
如: the bus is coming. →here comes the bus.
小试牛刀:下面是缓解压力的一些建议。(remove/get rid of/release our pressure)

二,部分倒装:把谓语动词的一部分提到主语的前面。
be动词: am is are was were
助动词:do does did ,h**e has had
情态动词:can will may might could would等。
加状语(副词、介词短语或状语从句)放在句首时,要进行部分倒装,如:
only then did i realize the importance of learning english.
only in this way can you hope to improve the situation there.
only after he came back was i able to see him. 倒主句。

只有这样我们才能成功。
2.含有否定意义的副词或短语,放在句首时,句子部分倒装。
no, nowhere, not, never,little, few, seldom,hardly, scarcely, barely, rarely
in no way, at no time, in no case, by no means,
on no account, on/under no condition, under no circumstances;
如:我从来没有看过这样的表演.
i h**e never seen such a performance.
never h**e i seen such a performance
这里绝不允许你吸烟。
at no time are you allowed to smoke here
小试牛刀:我们绝不能放弃学英语。
注意含有否定词的特殊句型:
1)刚…就…hardly(scarcely/barely)…when…
no sooner…than …
如:hardly had he arrived when she started complaining.
no sooner had he arrived than she started complaining.
注意:前倒后不倒,
小试牛刀:我刚到教室,铃声就响了。
2)not only… but (also)
如:not only was the coat soft, but it was also warm.
注意:前倒后不倒,
小试牛刀:做运动不仅能够强身健体还能缓解压力。
3)neither…nor…引导两个并列分句时,两个都要倒装。
neither h**e i seen him recently, nor h**e i heard from him.
小试牛刀:这个手机既不会响铃也不会发短信。
4)not …until… 句型中,not until 从句或短语放句首,后面主句部分倒装
not until she saw the present did she feel happy.
小试牛刀:直到那时我才意识到学习英语的重要性。
3. 在 so / such …that 的结构中, 若so/such 置于句首, 则so/such所在的句子部分倒装。
1) it is such an interesting book that john has read it twice.
such an interesting book is it that john has read it twice.
2) it is so interesting a book that john has read it twice.
so interesting a book is it that john has read it twice.
小试牛刀:我擅长口语,以至于我能够很流利地和老外交流。
4. as 尽管,虽然,引导的让步状语,通常把表语、状语或谓语动词一部分提前。
如:他虽然是个孩子, 但已经熟知英语。
child as / though he was, he had a good command of english.
although he might try, he failed again .
try as he might, he failed again.

尽管我上课迟到了,我为我做的感到自豪。
