兵马未动，粮草先行。词汇，就是写作的粮草。
翻译下面一句话，自测一下你的写作词汇处于什么档次。
1.这里的风景非常美。
2.这个会议非常重要。
漂亮，重要，你的第一反应是不是very beautiful和very important呢？如果是，那么你就中招儿了，你的写作词汇需要马上更新。very ,good ,important,because等词是初中学的，时间长，接触的次数多，最容易从大脑中提取出来，这些词称为“第一反应词”，他们简单，是土人用的。
牛人使用extraordinary，fantastic, be of great importance, owing to 等高级词汇。
请对比下面三组句子。
第一组：job will be a big challenge.
job will be a tremendous challenge.
第二组：and more americans are curious about chinese culture.
increasing number of americans are curious about chinese culture,第三组：
of the students are short-sighted.
majority of the students are short -sighted.
上面三组中，每组句子中有什么规律呢？每组中的第一句话里使用的都是第一反应词，而第二句话中使用的都是高级词汇或高级词组，每组的第二句话是不是比第一句话高大上呢？
在平时的教学中，我对一些常用的高级词汇做了积累，同学们可以添加到自己的写作词汇中去。
severe 替换掉serious（严重的）eg..a severe water shortage严重缺水。
wealthy 替换掉rich （富裕的）eg. an extremely wealthy young man
undesirable替换bad 不好的 eg. the advice is undesirable
fundamental / significant/vital [vatl]/crucial [kru:l]替换掉 important
eg. there is a fundamental difference between the two points of view.
relevant 替换掉 related （有关的）eg. .is highly relevant to...与。有着紧密的联系。
extraordinary/amazing 替换掉 surprising （惊人的，非凡的）
provided/providing （that）替换掉 if（如果。
on condition that替换掉 as long as
promote /strengthen/enhance替换掉 improve （提高，加强）
cope [kp] with 替换掉 solve（解决） motivate 替换掉 encourage
pros and cons 替换掉 advantages and disadvantages（好处和坏处）
