1、知识目标：能听懂、会说新单词：ruler、pen、pencil、pencil-box、book.
2、能力目标：能用“what’sthis?”询问物品的名称，并能用“it’s a”做出回应。能听懂、会说本课对话。
3、情感目标：积极参与课堂活动，体会到学习英语的乐趣。。二、教学重点难点。

板书单词，带读。然后让学生们集体练读，分组练读，单个练读。游戏—照镜子。当我向这边拍手说“ruler”,你们应向反方向拍手说“ruler”。
挑战升级。同样是向反方向说单词，但这次还要拿上物品。2、教师拿起物品。t: what’s this?
