unit 2 where is the science museum?
单元备课。教材分析：
本单元的教学内容是围绕“询问路线”这个话题展开，以生活为交际情境，重点训练“问路和指路”的基本表达方式。通过课堂学习掌握与之相关的单词，能够询问和回答某公共设施的具体位置，以及使用英语表达如何到达某地，并找到具体位置。
本单元涉及到“指点方向”的句型有：turn left/turn right at the cinema,then go on the left/right.这些句型也是本单元的难点。
涉及到“问路”的主要句型有：where is...how can i go to/get to...
其中句型where is...是旧的知识，how can i get to...是对第一单元的延伸和发展。
我们在设计教学活动是应考虑学生已有的知识水平，注意以旧带新，这样既能相应的降低教学难度，又能自然的引出新的教学内容。
教学目标：能力目标：
1、能够描述各类场所的大致位置。
2、能够询问路线并作简单回答。
3、能够了解地图的基本标志和方位。
4、能够听懂、会唱歌曲“where are you going?
知识目标：1、能够掌握a、b部分let’s learn,let’s talk中的四会单词和句子。
2、能够听、说、认读a、b部分let’s learn中的三会单词和let’s talk,let’s read**现的三会句子。
3、能够理解、会唱let’s chant,let’s sing等部分的内容。
4、了解c story time,good to know等部分的内容。
情感目标：1、情感态度：培养学生团结友爱、乐于助人的良好品质。
2、学习策略：引导学生在学习过程中注重合作学习，培养学生合作学习的意识。
3、文化目标：简单了解国外地图的主要标识。

第一课时。教学内容：let’s start/let’s chant a let’s learn/pair work c let’s sing
教学目标：1、能够听、说、读、写单词或短语：hospital,cinema,post office,bookstore,library.
2、能够听、说、认读短语：science museum.
3、能够听、说、认读句型：where is the library? it’s near the post office.并进行关键词的替换操练。
4、能够理解并会吟唱let’s chant的歌谣。
5、能够听懂会唱歌曲where are you going?
教学重难点：
1、重点：掌握let’s learn部分的四会单词和短语。
2、难点：四会单词的正确书写和三会单词museum的发音。
教具准备：1、录音机、录音带。
2、单词卡片。
3、教学挂图。
教学过程：一、热身。
1、教师和学生一起唱三年级下册unit 6 b let’s sing歌曲they are in the zoo.
2、师生对话：教师出示五年级上册unit 5 b let’s learn部分的教学挂图，师生进行对话，复习介词under,behind,in front of,near,over,in,on的用法。
t:where is the trash bin?
s1:it’s near the table.
2、新课呈现。
1、猜一猜，说一说。
1）教师做咳嗽的样子，说：i’m must go to see a shall i go?引出单词 hospital。
2）教师手持一封信，说：i’m going to post the i go to the hospital?where shall i go?
yes,post office.出示单词卡片post office。
3）教师手持电影票，说：i’m going to see a shall i go?引出单词cinema。
4）教师拿着钱，说：i’m going to buy some shall i go?shall i go to the cinema?
oh,i shall go to the bookstore.引出单词bookstore。
5）教师说：i’m not going to buy a going to read some shall i go?oh,yes,i’m going to the library.
引出单词library。
6）游戏：what’s missing?当游戏继续进行时，教师趁学生不注意的时候再加上一张science museum，问学生what’s missing？
当学生猜错时，教学短语science museum，提醒学生注意museum的发音，并适当拓展，如历史博物馆等。
7）游戏：回音壁。
教师低声说出一个单词，学生也小声重复一遍，教师大声说出一个单词，学生也大声说出该单词。
8）游戏：听一听，拍一拍。
9）教师将以上单词卡贴在黑板上，根据老师的指令，拍出相应的单词。
2、句型教学。
教师出示某城市的主要公共设施所处的位置图，然后通过师生问答引出本课的句型。
t:look at this is our school,it’s near the is the library?
s1:it’s near our school.
3、let’s chant
教师**磁带，学生跟着节奏吟唱。

5、教师出示let’s start部分的教学挂图，请学生看图读一读，连一连。
三、巩固与拓展。
1、设计地图。
教师请学生先在方框里填上单词或短语，再对地图进行描述，如：
the library is in front of the post office.
the post office is behind the hospital.
the park is near the zoo.
the bookstore is near the school.
2、let’s sing
3、学生听c let’s sing录音，学唱歌曲：“where are you going？”
四、小结。教师请学生自己总结本单元所学的重点内容。
五、家庭作业。
1、抄写本课时的四会单词4遍。
2、画出心目中理想的城市地图，并用英语加以描述。

2、能够听、说、认读主要句型：“where is the cinema／post office／…，please ?its next to the hospital／cinema／…is it far from here?
no，its not far．”并能在实际情景中熟练运用。
3、能够听懂lets try部分，并能根据录音内容选择正确的答案。
4、能够了解音标／e／，／k／，／g／，／f／，／v／，／s／，／z／的音与形；能够读出例词并选择音标与单词和配图正确连线。
