第一课时。学习内容】

学情分析】学生在四年级上册第五单元已学过部分有关食物的单词及自己想吃某种食物的表达what would you like for dinner? i’d like some…为本课时语言的操练提供了基础。食物也是学生感兴趣的话题之一，兴趣是最好的老师，教师可以充分利用学生的兴趣来进行词汇的教学。
学习目标】1.能够询问别人或介绍自己爱吃的食物，如what would you like for lunch? i’d like some tomatoes and mutton.
2. 能听、说、读、写单词：tofu, eggplant, potato, tomato, green beans, fish。
3. 能听、说、读单词pork, mutton, cabbage及句子what would you like for lunch? i’d like some…
4. 能听懂、会说let’s chant部分的歌谣。
5.培养学生合理选择和搭配饮食的观念。
学习重、难点】教学重点：熟练掌握tofu, eggplant, potato, tomato, green beans, fish, pork, mutton, cabbage及句子what would you like for lunch? i’d like some…
教学难点：本课时词汇量大，要求学生掌握的单词多。根让学生在课堂上较好掌握这些单词，教师需巧教、趣教，努力调动学生的积极性。
如：教师比较potato和tomato两个单词的异同，引导学生速记，也可利用歌谣来教学新单词。
了解在9个新词中，pork, mutton, fish肉类为不可数名词。tofu, eggplant也是不可数名词。tomatoes, potatoes, green beans, cabbage为可数名词。
教学过程：自主预习】
预习如何询问别人或介绍自己爱吃的食物，如what would you like for lunch? i’d like some tomatoes and mutton.

2、组间反馈：相邻组之间解决预习中记录在问题卡上的问题。

设计意图】师生在一起唱唱、跳跳、听听、做做的热身活动中进入学习状态。通过对句型what would you like for lunch? i’d like some…的复习操练，为新授句型作好了铺垫，并以此引入新课。

一）猜谜语引出新单词。
1．教师出示let’s start部分的挂图，出谜语，请学生猜猜是什么食物。t：i’m yummy to eat.
i’m yellow and long. i grow on the tree. my name begins with the letter as “bee”.
what am i ? 学生猜是何种食物。
教师揭晓答案：banana.
2．用谜语教学tomato.
教师出谜语：i’m yummy to eat. i’m red and round.
i grow on the ground. my name begins with the letter as “tea”. what am i ?
学生猜是何种食物。
教师揭晓答案并出示**：tomato
教师领读单词，学生跟读。拼读单词：t-o-m-a-t-o, tomato.教师板书。
3．教学potato.
教师把tomato单词中的“t,m”换成“p,t”,单词变为potato,请学生读出单词。
t：what’s the potato like?
请学生试着用语言描述potato的样子，教师提供帮助。it’s yellow and round. it’s yummy. it’s big….
4．简笔画教学cabbage, green beans, eggplant.
同法教学green beans, eggplant.
5．**教学fish, mutton, pork, tofu.
教师出示fish的反面**，学生根据图的轮廓猜是何种食物，引出fish. 师生拼读fish.

展示提升】二）操练巩固新单词。
1. missing game.
教师出示一些食物卡，放在讲台上。让一名学生上台来看一会，然后背向讲台站立，再让另一位学生上台取走一张食物卡，猜的学生要在最短的时间内用英语把缺的东西说出来。
设计意图】通过这个游戏，培养学生的记忆能力和快速反应能力。
2．菜谱游戏。
教师用汉语说一种菜品的名称，请学生用英语补充完整。如红烧——(学生说出)eggplant，凉拌——tomato等。
设计意图】通过菜谱游戏，充分利用了学生的生活经验，极大地激发了学生的学习兴趣，使学生感到学习是一种乐趣，取得事半功倍的效果。
3．let’s chant potato, tomato,potatoes and tomatoes,i’d like potatoes and tomatoes.

（三）句型教学。
教师出示一张菜单：
t: this is a menu.
what would you like for lunch?
i’d like some tofu, tomatoes and some rice.教师把笑脸贴在喜欢吃的食物旁边。
教师问学生：what would you like for lunch?
学生回答： i’d like some….
学生上来选择自己喜欢的食物，互相交流，并在食物边贴上笑脸贴纸。
听录音学习单词。
1．教师**录音，学生跟读单词。
2．拼读单词。
教师出示四会单词的**， 以四人小组为单位抢拼单词。

教师**录音，学生学唱本课时的歌谣what would you like for lunch?复习巩固新单词。
group work
以小组为单位每个小组一张菜单，学生用句型what would you like for lunch? i’d like some….对话，把笑脸贴在喜欢的菜旁边。
设计意图】将会话教学融入情景中，让学生通过参与、合作、实践，滚动以往所学的语言内容，提高语言运用能力。
达标检测】1．游戏：看谁反应快。
教师说出有关食物的单词，学生快速抢答其颜色。如：eggplant-purple，进行小组比赛，看哪一组学生反应最快，给予奖励。也可转换角色进行，由教师说颜色，学生说出食物名。
四、emotional theme（情感升华）
科学饮食，合理搭配，吃出健康和营养。
五、homework（家庭作业）
1．做调查。
以小组为单位调查本组同学的一日三餐，参考句型： what would you like for lunch? i’d like some….
2．抄写本课时的四会单词5遍，并将新学的食物名称教给家长。

第二课时。学习内容】

学习目标】1. 能听懂会说 “what do you h**e for lunch today? i h**e….”并能在情景中正确运用。
2. 能听懂提示语，按照录音内容判断**的正误。认读a let’s talk中的句子。
了解good to know部分的内容。了解中国表示美好愿望的传统美食，并介绍其他国家具有代表性的食物，开拓学生的视野。
学习重、难点】
教学重点：重点掌握询问和回答三餐所吃食物的句型：what do you h**e for lunch today? i h**e….
教学难点：句子 “what would you like for lunch?”与“what do you h**e for lunch today?”的不同用法。
学情分析】针对本课时文化背景的学习，要为学生介绍中国表示美好祝愿的美食，以及其他国家具有代表性的食物，开拓学生的视野。
自主预习】生准备单词和句型卡片。
