一、教学目标：
a）词汇：能听懂、会说、会读新单词sunday, monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday, saturday;能听懂、会说 music lesson, today, tomorrow, happy。
b）句型：能用“today is```正确描述今天是星期几。
二、教学重难点。
1.重点：能听懂、会说、会读新单词sunday, monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday, saturday，并能用“today is```正确描述今天是星期几。
2.难点：（1）thursday的发音。th字母组合的发音较难，要引导学生观察口型，仔细听，模仿读。
（2）tuesday和thursday的区别。
（3）表示“星期几“的单词首字母要大写。
三、教学准备。
用于新授单词的**、单词卡片、多**等。
四、教学过程。
step1 warm-up/revision

step2 presentation
1.情境创设：a birthday party.
利用课件或**出示一个peter的笑脸。
t：who is he?
ss: he is peter.
t: is he happy?
ss: yes, he is.
t: peter is very happy today. can you guess why?
ss:``t: look! what’s this?（教师用课件或**出示一个生日蛋糕）
ss: a birthday cake.
t: yes! today is peter’s birthday.（课件出示一个欢乐的生日party的场景）
what day is it today? sunday, monday, tuesday```提示：教师用课件出示一个星期的日历，请学生猜测peter的生日在星期几，由此引出新单词的教学。

1) 学习新词sunday
1 教师用多**出示一个太阳。
t：what’s this?
ss: the sun.
2 教师在sun这个单词后面加上day，让学生试着自己把单词读出来。
3 教师将单词首字母用不同颜色的粉笔大写，告诉学生星期是专有名词，首字母要大写。
（2）学习新单词monday
教师出示单词卡片，带读单词，教师板书该单词，并在书写“m”时用不同颜色加以区分。
教师带读、集体练读、分组练读或“**车”练读新单词。
（3）以相同的方式教授tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday和saturday。根据发音规则教学生区分tuesday和thursday。并引导学生总结这七个单词在拼读上的规律。
（4）词汇操练：
炸弹游戏等。

第二步：listen and learn.
单词教学：today, tomorrow, music class
t: what day is it today?
ss: today is monday.（学生根据当天的实际情况回答）

（板书并带读today）today is monday. tomorrow is tuesday.（板书并带读tomorrow）we h**e music class tomorrow.
（教师用课件出示一张学生上**课的**并带读music class）
请同学当小老师带读这三个新词，利用齐读、分组读、**车读的方式会读单词，检查学生的发音。
第三步：listen and fill in the blanks.
听音，填空。
1 today is __i h**e music class again.
2 today isi can play football.
3 today is __tomorrow is my birthday.
4 today ispeter is happy today.
第四步：listen and repeat.
听音，跟读。引导学生正确模仿，提醒学生注意模仿语调。
step3 practice
游戏：quick response.
教师说今天星期几，学生快速反应明天是星期几。教师说明天星期几，学生则快速说出今天星期几，熟练之后可以让学生之间自己快速回答，操练单词和句型。
step4 homework
制作星期单词卡片，把这些卡片做成一副日历，把重要的日子标注出来（如自己和家人的生日），并用英语像朋友介绍。
