一，说教材。
starter unit 2是go for it!三个预备单元中的第二个单元。预备篇是为了使没有英语学习基础的学生更好地使用本套教材而编写的。
它的主要内容为26个英文字母和最基本的英语日常用语。go for it!是以《英语课程标准》为依据，以培养学生的英语语言综合运用能力为目标。
每个单元的教学内容都围绕一个相对集中的主题，学习语言的过程，就是学生完成各项任务的过程。go for it!的每一个单元只有一个总体的教学内容安排，没有具体的分课时教学内容安排。
教师必须首先根据所任教学生的实际水平出发，合理安排每单元的课时数，设计好每课时的教学内容。
二，说教材重难点。
重点：1,字母：复习a-h，学习i-r
2,单词：map、ruler、pen、orange、key、jacket、quilt3,句型：what is this in english?
it is a/an map/orange...
4,学习a/an的初步用法：a jacket, an orange
5,this/that在句子中的区别：this指物品等离说话者近，that指物品离说。
话者远。难点：让学生在实际生活中运用单词及句型。
三，说教学目标：1，语言技能目标。
通过游戏等活动，培养学生灵活运用语言知识和勇于创新的能力。2，情感目标。
激发学生学习英语的兴趣，发挥学生学习英语的主动性；通过小组活动、组间竞赛，培养学生的合作意识和团队精神；在活动中培养学生的想象力和创造力。
四，说教学过程step 1 warming up

引导学生在真实的交际中运用starter unit 1中学到的日常用语，让学生体会学英语的乐趣和成功的快乐。
通过字母歌把学生的注意力吸引到字母的复习与学习中，运用生动有趣的flash激发学生的学生兴趣，做到乐教趣学。step 2 games
