第一步：温故知新（3分钟）

2、掌握形容词和副词最高级的构成及基本用法。
3、重、难点。
重点：形容词和副词最高级的构成。
难点：形容词和副词最高级的基本用法用法。
第三步：自主学习（5分钟）
一、扫清障碍。
根据音标读出1a---1c的单词，并记住。
二、课本预习：
一、熟读1a 的词组并翻译成汉语：复习形容词的比较级的变化和用法。
more comfortable seat , bigger screen, better sound, cheaper, newer movies, closer to home, buy tickets more quickly , more popular
熟读1b中对qualities的描述，并仿照造句仿照1c编对话。
第四步：合作**（10分钟）
最高级形式的构成。
(1)单音节词和部分双音节词在原级后加-est构成，具体情况如下：
①单音节词及部分双音节词在词尾后加-est。
great--greatest clever--cleverest
②以e结尾的单词，在词尾后加．st。
nice--nicest fine--finest
③以辅音字母’y结尾的单词，把y变为i，再加-est。
happy--happiest he**y--he**iest
④重读闭音节单词末尾只有一个辅音字母的单词，双写最后的辅音字母，再加-est。
hot--hottest big--biggest
(2)绝大多数双音节和多音节形容词前面加most构成最高级。
important--most important interesting---most interesting
beautiful--most beautiful popular--most popular
difficult---most difficult creative--most creative
boring--most boring expensive--most expensive
(3)不规则变化
少数形容词(和副词)的比较级及最高级变化不规则，我们要熟记。
good／well-~better---best bad／ill／badly-~worse--worst
many／much--more---most little---less---least
far---farther---farthest 或 further---furthest
小组学习：1a-1c中词组和句子的意思，互相检查找出的形容词和副词的最高级。
第五步：导学释义（10分钟）
1、解释1a-1c中较难词组和句子的意思。
2、最高级规则变化口诀：
最高级，很容易，一般词尾加est。(cheap-the cheapest)
词尾若有哑音e, 直接就加st。(close-the closest)
重读闭音节， 单辅音字母要双写。(big-the biggest)
辅音字母加y, 记得把y变为i。(friendly-the friendliest)
多音节，考考你，the most到底加**？(popular-the most popular)
3、用法：1）形容词最高级：用于三者或三者以上的人或事物相比较。
2）标志词：表比较范围时用in/of
3) 形容词最高级前须加定冠词the.
第六步：拓展延伸（5分钟）

最高级常用句式：
1) who/ which…+ 最高级…, a, b or c ?
2) one of +the +形容词最高级 +名词复数形式，意为“最…之一”。
3）序数词后跟形容词最高级。
