《专业外语》教学大纲。

参考教材:劳动和社会保障部人事教育司主编:《劳动和社会保障英语读本》,中国劳动和社会保障出版社2023年第一版。刘亚非主编:《保险英语》,复旦大学出版社2023年第一版。
二、课程的性质、任务与目的。
劳动和社会保障专业外语》是劳动与社会保障专业开设的一门较为重要的专业必修课。通过本门课程学习以日本社会保障概况为基础,结合中国的实际情况。要求学生掌握一定的专业术语,能够阅读本专业方向的**和书籍,进一步能够随时了解国外劳动和社会保障方向的最新动态。
能够独立运用所学知识对国外这个领域的知识进行分析和解释,通过进一步学习能够和外国的学者进行交流,能够借鉴国外的政策和经验,服务于本国的劳动和社会保障这个领域。
三、课程内容、基本要求与学时分配。
一)overview of social security in japan(2学时)
1.master some professional terminologies: such as in-kind, in-cash,contribution, child rearing allowance, insurance premium and so on.
2.understand the general characteristics of social security in japan.3.learn revenues and expenditure of the social security in japan.(二)pensions in japan(6学时)
1.master some professional terminologies: such as flat rate, universality,self-employed, civil servant, mutual fund, subsidy, lump-sum payment and so on.
2.understand the general characteristics of pensions in japan.3.learn pension system in japan.
4.master pension schemes in japan, including: the national pension, theemployees’pension insurance, national pension fund, corporate pensions andretirement allowances, dc pension schemes.
5.understand the current issues of pension system and 2004 pension reform(三)health insurance in japan(6学时)
1.master some professional terminologies, such as long-term care, socialmedical insurance, nursing, non-prescription, massage, acupuncture, medicalcheckup, medical benefits, and so on.
2.understand the general characteristics of health insurance in japan.
3.masterthehealthinsuranceschemes,including:employees’healthinsurance,national health insurance, health insurance system for the elderly.。4.learn medical benefits and co-payment rate.
5.learn current issues and recent reforms of the public health insurance.(四)social assistance in japan(6学时)
1.master some professional terminologies: such as welfare for the elderly, long-term careinsurance, child rearing allowance, public assistance, and so on.
2.understand the general characteristics of social assistance in japan.
3.understand the social assistance schemes in japan, including: public assistance for thepoor, welfare for children, welfare for the disabled.
4.learn the current issues of social assistance in japan, including: the reform of the publicassistance, need to create a society f**orable to child rearing.
五)long-term care in japan(6学时)
1.master some professional terminologies: such as the long-term care insurance,rehabilitation, medical facility, out-patient rehabilitation, at-home nursing, day-service, short-stayservice, sanatorium, and so on.
2.understand the general characteristics of the long-term care in japan.
3.master the long-term care insurance system including: insured, service provided, sourceof financing, assessment of the care-needs.
4.learn the current issues of the long-term care, including: financial strain and the reform,response to the rise of insurance premium and the co-payment.
六)employment insurance in japan(4学时)
1.master some professional terminologies: such as the job applicants’benefits, theemployment continuation benefits, family care le**e benefits, day-labor job applicantbenefits, injury and sickness allowance and so on.
2.understand the general characteristics of employment insurance.
3.master the employment insurance system in japan, including: the basic allowance for thejob applicants, old age continuous employment benefits, rise of part-time and temporaryemployment in the young and the women.
4.learn the current issues of the employment insurance in japan, including: the increase ofpart-time and temporary workers, treatment of elderly employees.
七)social insurance fund management and supervision in china(2学时)1.understand the overview and development of social insurance fund management inchina.
2.understand the framework and social insurance fund management in china.3.learn the overview and framework of social security fund supervision in china.
四、教学方法和手段。
采用启发、案例等课堂授课方法,条件许可时运用多**教学。

作业+考勤+期末考试=该课成绩。

本课程课内外学时比为1:1,至少安排一次课堂讨论。
