二，订位与询问建议。
1. 订位时可以说：
i'd like to reserve a table for +人数、时间。
我要订……的位子。
你也可以说：
i'd like to ①make a reservation for +人数、时间。
我要订……的位子。
例如：i'd like to reserve a table for 5 people for tonight at six.
我想订今天晚上6点钟的5人桌。
2. 当你还未决定吃什么时，可以说：
i am not ready to order yet.
我还不想点餐。
3. 当你不知道吃什么时，可以说：
do you h**e any recommendations?
你们有什么可以推荐的吗？
或。what are your specialties (specials)？
你们的招牌菜（特色菜）是什么？
specialty是英式说法，special是美式说法。
4. 当你确定要点餐时，可以说：
i'd like +食物名称。
或。i'll h**e +食物名称。
我要点……例如：i'd like a t-bone steak.
我要一个丁骨牛排。
如果你想点沙拉（salad），通常你会听到服务生问：
what dressing would you like?
您要哪种沙拉酱呢？
这时你可以问：

你们有什么沙拉酱？
然后再顺着服务生的回答选择一个。
常见的salad dressing有：thousand island（千岛）、italian（意式）、french（法式）及blue cheese（蓝乳酪）等。
点牛排时可跟服务人员要a1 sauce（牛排酱）。
用完餐要餐付账时，只要说：
check, please.
买单。服务生就会过来帮你结账。
你也可以说：
