二、知识**。
1. in this unit, you will learn about ****** friends with young people in other countries.
1）learn about是“学习，了解”的意思。
如：we are learning about the chinese holidays.
2）make friends with 表示与人交朋友，注意friend在这里要用复数形式friends。

elder是old的比较级，在此表示“年龄较大的，较年长的”，常放在名词前面，其反义词是younger。
如：我有一个哥哥和一个妹妹。

1）email在这里作动词，表示通过邮件发。
如：he emailed me a funny picture yesterday.
2）the answer to these questions意为这些问题的答案；注意表示“…的答案”时，answer后面要与介词to连用。
如：sorry, i don’t know the answer to this question.
4. my dream is to be an engineer. 我的梦想是成为一个工程师。
1) 不定式to be作表语； 如：my job is to clean the house.
2) engineer发音是以元音开头，所以要用an。
5. i hope to hear from you soon.
hear from 的意思是它的同义短语是。
hope在句中是动词/名词)，hope to + 动词原形，表示。
拓展】：wish既可以做动词也可以做名词，作名词时常用作书信的结束语。
用作动词是希望，愿望的意思，常指不可能实现或难以实现的愿望。
即学即练】：用hope和wish填空。
（1）ito see you tomorrow, granddad.
（2）ii could fly in the sky.
6. my grandfather lives with us.
with是介词， 在句中译作“与…..一起，随着”。with 还有使用，带着等意思，不能单独作谓语，必须与主动作一起用。
如：miss li came ina big smile on her face.
you can cut the appleyour knife.
7. i saw your blog on the internet.
on the internet 是在网络上的意思，注意internet首字母必须大写。
介词on的类似用法还有：on the radio; on tv; on the telephone
【拓展】：on的其他用法。
（1）在星期一2）在星期四的早上。
（3）在九月一号4）在六月一号的下午。
（5）在一个下雨天的早上。
