一、教材分析。
本课是unit11的第一课时。其主要目标是能用 “could you please do things?” could i please do things?
”谈论如何委婉地提出请求或征求别人的许可， 及回答语“sure / certainly / i’m glad to .”能礼貌地拒绝，“sorry, i / you can’t,. i / you h**e to do…”并表达自己的理由， 陈述自己的好恶。
二、教学设计思路。
结合学生在日常生活和学习中经常遇到的一些问题设计活动，以do housework 和调查做力能所及的事为话题，学会运用“could you please do things?”“could i please do things?”有礼貌的提出请求和请求允许做某事。
三、教学设计理念。
以听说训练为主线，通过看、听、说、演练、动手操作等一系列教学活动，使学生获得最基本的听说能力，并在教学中充分激发学生强烈的学习愿望，在注重学生知识能力发展的同时，特别强调学生人格的发展和思维的发展。
四、教学目标。
一）知识。1. 名词trash, clothes, floor, cleaning, ,living room, washing.
2. 情态动词can could.
3.动词fold, cook, need to, sweep, take out, use, wash, give并且复习运用情态动词h**e to. 区别make与do在短语中的用法。
4.重要词组。
do the dishes, sweep the floor, take out the trash. fold your clothes, clean the living room, do chores, h**e to do sth, like to do (doing) sth, make dinner, make your bed
5.句型。could you please clean your room? yes, sure.
could you please do the dishes? sorry, i can’t. i h**e to do my homework.
could i please go to the movies? yes, you can.
could i please use the computer? no, you can’t. you must do the dishes at first.
二）能力。本课的设计为表达提供了真实的材料，使得学生在各个活动中想说、有话说，使活动参与的范围广，达到任务的真实性，有效性，增强人际交往的技巧。
三）情感。通过本课的学习，教师适时对学生进行爱的教育，使他们能理解父母，帮助分担家务，学会与他人沟通，这亦是素质教育的“以人为本”的目标体现。
五、教学重点和难点。
1．重点。1）学习和复习一些常用的动词短语。
2）委婉地提出请求、征求许可做某事。
could you/i please do things？ yes, sure. /i/you can.
sorry, i / you can’t,..i / you h**e to do…”
3）学习如何请求他人的帮助。
2．难点。在实际的生活中委婉地表达自己的请求和征求许可，获取帮助。
六、教学过程。
step1. warming up
enjoy the music.
看幻灯片导入，使学生联想到本课的话题。
step2. leading in
say to a student,give me a pen. accept the pen and then give it back to the student. then ask the students what is a more polite way to ask for a pen?
give students sample sentences such as, please give me a pen. or give me a pen ,please.
say,there is another polite way to ask for something, it is,could you please give me a pen? then write could you please…? on the blackboard.
teach could i please…? in the same way.

could you please…? yes, sure.
could you please…? sorry, i can’t. i h**e to ..
could i please …?yes, you can.
could i please …r? no, you can’t. you must ..
step4. learn new words and phrases
看幻灯片学习动词词组sweep the floor, do the dishes, make the bed, take out the trash, fold the clothes, clean the living room.
step5. discussion
discuss: what do you usually do on sunday?
先通过已学的简单句型，让学生再一次对所学的词汇进行练习。并在讨论后让学生做pair work来热身。
step6. listening:
listen to 1bpeter’s chores or mom’s chores?
通过听力来巩固目标词汇。
step7. pair work
ask your partner for help 告诉学生可以向同桌寻求帮助，请求别人帮助你做自己不喜欢干的家务活。
练习目标语言could you please do things？ yes, sure./ sorry, i h**e to do…并进行对话练习。
step8. game
学生表演。一位学生利用could you please do things？委婉地提出请求。另一位学生表演动作。活跃课堂气氛。
step9．pair work
students act out strict father or mother. (角色扮演。一位学生扮演严格的父母。一位学生扮演孩子。)
学习目标语言如何征求许可做某事。could i please do things？ yes, sure./ no， you must … 并做pair work.
step10．interview : how to be a better boy and girl?
让学生以小组的形式，采访自己的同学。讨论一次自己的周末计划。要帮助爸爸妈妈做什么家务活。
在学习中学生受到爱的教育，学会爱父母，爱家庭，爱劳动。并且复习已学句型 i’m going to do…给每个小组里的最能干者发奖，适时给学生爱劳动，爱父母的教育。
