基本句型：the matter? 怎么了？ i h**e a stomachache. 我肚子痛。
the matter with ben? 本怎么了？ he has a sore back. 他背痛。

语法专题：情态动词should的用法。
should作情态动词，有实际词义，但不能单独作谓语，必须与动词原形连用，没有人称和数的变化。其否定形式在其后加not，可缩写为shouldn’t；变为一般疑问句时，should提到主语之前。用法如下：
1）表示委婉地提出意见或建议时，一般意为“应该；应当”。
you should eat lots of healthy food. 你应该多吃些健康的食品。
you should help each other. 你们应该互相帮助。
2）表示义务、责任，也意为“应当；应该”。
you should study hard. 你应当努力学习。
you should pay for the books. 你应当付书钱。
3）表示命令、要求，语气比较强烈。
we should respect our teachers and parents. 我们应当尊敬我们的老师和父母。
you shouldn’t be so careless. 你不应该如此粗心。
4）表示**和可能性。
they should be in the classroom. 他们应该在教室里。
he should be a teacher. 他可能是一位老师。
5）表示说话人的情感，如惊奇、愤怒、失望等，多见于以why,who,how,what等开头的特殊疑问句中。
why should i invite her? 为什么我要邀请她？
how should i know? 我怎么知道？
语法点拨：the matter? 怎么了？相当于what’s wrong?/what’s the problem?
的用法。动词，意为“得（病）；患（病）”，相当于get。有什么病，其结构为“h**e+a+病名”。这时“a+病名”不表示数量，而表示一类事物。常用短语有：
h**e a cold患感冒 h**e a stomachache胃痛 h**e a toothache牙痛 h**e a fever发烧。
h**e a sore back 背痛 h**e a sore throat 喉咙痛
的用法。(1)作动词，意为“躺；位于”，常用短语有：lie down 躺下； lie in the south of...位于。的南部。
(2)意为“撒慌”，既可作名词，又可作动词，常用短语有：lie to sb.=tell sb. a lie跟某人说谎。
(3)现在分词为lying

5. get an x-ray进行x光拍片。
6. take one’s temperature量体温。
7. go to a doctor看医生。
8. agree with sb.同意某人的意见 agree to do sth.同意干某事。
9. be in trouble 处于困境； get into trouble造成麻烦。
10. see sb. doing sth. 看见某人正在做某事 see sb. do sth. 看见某人做了某事。
类似结构的动词还有：hear, watch, find等。
11. get off下车 get on上车。
12. to one’s surprise 使人吃惊的是。
down 摔倒。
about (doing) sth. 考虑（干）某事。
15. put...on...把。放在。上面 put on 穿上；戴上。
16. run it under water 放在水下冲洗。
17. put one’s head back 仰着头。
18. h**e problems breathing 有呼吸问题。
h**e problems/trouble doing sth. 做。有困难/有问题。
19. h**e a nosebleed 流鼻血。
20. be/get used to (doing) sth. 习惯于（干）..
21. run out 用完 sb. run out sth. 某人用完某物。
22. be in +n. 处于。中。
(1)be in a difficult/dangerous situation 处于困境/危险境地。
(2)be in control of...处于对。掌控中

get out of 从。中离开 keep on doing sth. 继续做。
give up (doing) sth. 放弃（做）..
