课标要求：熟悉有关日常生活的话题，在日常人际交往中能有效地进行表达，理解和掌握描述事件和行为的发生、发展过程的表达方式。教材分析：
本单元的目标是运用句型“h**e you ever been to…”和“i’ve everbeen to…”谈论现在完成时态。本单元的所有活动以“谈论过去的经历”为话题逐一展开。本单元教学分为a、b、c三部分。
a部分使学生积极参加各项学习活动，b部分则巩固学习效果，与文化背景知识的学习与能力训练的有关练习结合起来，使学生能逐步地掌握知识。c部分的阅读材料向我们介绍了东南亚一个漂亮的岛国---新加坡。通过学习这篇阅读材料，学生要学会介绍一个名胜时要有条理化，系统化。
学情分析。现在完成时是初中阶段学生较难掌握的一种时态。它与过去时一直是学生难以区别的、容易混淆使用的，好多学生是“似懂非懂”。
尤其是短暂性动词、延续性动词，学生理解起来更是难上加难，所以在本单元的语法讲解过程中，会将现在完成时与一般过去时的区别、延续性动词与短暂性动词的正确使用作为重点，多进行针对性练习。
词汇方面掌握：

使用教材的构想。
reading是对学生英语语言的综合运用，篇幅比较长，学生学起来感觉吃力，所以我将内容**化，学生看起来会一目了然。section 1是对四个国外城市的了解，由于学生知识水平的限制，我将内容简化为国内的名胜，学生谈论起来有话题。part3a比较容易，学生自己能完成，布置成了家庭作业。
section4是对写作的一个练习，课堂上写，时间比较仓促，所以将section4也布置成了家庭作业，让学生有充足的时间来完成。

将内容落实到笔头练习，既是对内容的掌握，又锻炼了自己综合运用英语的能力。
