过去进行时表示的概念①在过去某个特定的时间正在进行或发生的动作。②当过去的一个动作发生的时候另外一个动作正在进行。
结构：主语+ was（were）+ doing
否定句： was/ were + not
一般疑问句：was/ were 提前。
时间状语可以是具体的某个过去时间点，at eight o'clock yesterday/ at this time/ at that moment
也可以是when, while来引导的状语从句，说明主句中动作发生的情景。
i was sleeping at eight o'clock yesterday morning.
i was walking in the street at this time last week.
when my mother came home, i was doing my homework.
while my mother was cooking dinner, my father was playing computer games.
