1．课程定位。
酒店实用英语是高等职业教育酒店管理专业的一门专业技能课。该课程旨在培养学生用英语为顾客提供酒店服务的职业能力、诚实守信的职业素养等。按照酒店部门，着重训练前厅、客房、餐饮、《酒店实用英语》

一）《酒店实用英语》课程。
1．课程定位。
酒店实用英语是高等职业教育酒店管理专业的一门专业技能课。该课程旨在培养学生用英语为顾客提供酒店服务的职业能力、诚实守信的职业素养等。按照酒店部门，着重训练前厅、客房、餐饮、商务中心的各个岗位的英语服务。
在酒店客源国际化的环境下，该课程是酒店管理专业培养英文过硬的高素质技能型人才的核心课程。
该课程旨在培养学生饭店英语服务能力、英文沟通能力等。
2．教学目标。
1．强调实用性，突出培养学生的英语口语能力、用英文为顾客服务的实际能力；
2．以典型工作任务为导向，把酒店特定岗位的服务英语及服务流程作为典型的工作任务。做到分解技能，强化训练，整体最优；
3．通过团队训练的形式让学生真正动起来、学起来、说出来。培养学生的沟通能力、协调能力、解决问题能力等核心职业能力；
4．深入贯彻“课-证-岗”结合的教学模式。以课程支持职业资格证书考试，以职业资格证书支持就业。逐步训练并提高学生的饭店英语服务能力、各岗位的实际就业能力。

1．教学目标。
熟悉ways of room reservation, room types, means of payment；
掌握words and sentences of room reservation

2．教学课时：2课时。
环境：语音室。
教具：语音设备、电脑、投影、音频、**设备等。

工作目标：熟悉room cancellation charge

工作内容：find out the basic room types in a hotel
for room cancellations, hotel will charge accordingly．
