一、教学目标。
1.能听懂、会说新单词than ，clay ，biggest， smallest， tallest ，shortest， longest
2.理解： this bird is bigger/smaller than the first one.
3.能观察比较事物的大小、高矮、长短。
4能运用形容词构成比较级和最高级的基本规则。
二、重点难点。
1、听懂并会说：tom’s hair is shorter than mike’s,2、比较级和最高级的用法。

三、教学过程。
step 1 . warming up
1、greetings.
2、review：
1）.课件依次闪现几只不同颜色的鸟，t:which bird is blue/red/yellow/white?复习序数词和颜色类单词。
2）.复习词汇：big small tall short long
3、由简单的句子引入比较级。
step 2. presentation and drills
1、老师用课件或卡片呈现四只鸟，引出单词big ,bigger ,biggest. t:which bird is bigger ,the first one or the second one?
2、用类似的方法导入small—smaller— smallest tall—taller—tallest, short—shorter—shortest long—longer--longest
3、learn part a.
第一步：听录音，回答问题（自主学习）

第二步：听录音，填空（自主学习）
