一：重点词汇。
1. read
用法】v. 读、阅读，宾语常是书、报纸、杂志等。
举例】he is reading a book.他正在看书。
拓展】辨析 watch, look, see 和 read
用法】watch 意为“**、注视”，指长时间**某一活动的场面，如：看电视、看比赛等（he often watch tv on sunday.星期天他经常看电视。）
look 强调看的动作，不注重结果，是不及物动词，接宾语时要加 at(look at the map, please. 请看这幅地图。)
see 强调看的结果，是及物动词，意为看见、看到，但不用于进行时态（can you see the bird in the sky?）

2. wait
用法】v. 等待、等候。
搭配】wait for 等侯某人/某物（he’s waiting for the bus there.他在那里等公共汽车。）

用法】n. 西、西方 adj. 西方的、在西方的、向西方的
举例】west lake 西湖。

用法】前者常用来形容冬天的天气，后者用来形容秋天的天气（反义词： warm）

1. tv show 电视节目。
show 可以做动词，意为“给。看、展示”：show sb sth/ show sth to sb 给某人看某物（he shows me a phone of his family.
=he shows a phone of his family to me.他给我看一张他的全家福）
2. wait for 等待、等候。
3. eat dinner 吃晚餐 （=h**e dinner/supper）
4. watch tv 看电视。
5. go to the movies 去看电影= go to the cinema
go 后接活动性名词时，表示“去做某事”（go to the meeting 去开会；go to the party/talk报告会/match比赛）
go 加动词现在分词表示去进行这一动作，一般表示休闲或娱乐性的活动（go shopping/boating/ swimming/dancing）
6. talk on the phone 在**中交谈。
7. at the pool 在游泳；in/at the library在图书馆；in/at the school 在学校，at the mall在商业街，at home 在家。
8. write a letter 写信。
write to sb.=write a letter to sb.）
9. talk to 和。交谈（= talk with）:he is talking to/with his friend.他在和朋友谈话。
talk about 涉及谈话的内容，意为谈论关于。we’re talking about that film.我们在谈论那部电影。）
talk of 只涉及某人或某事而不涉及内容（they often talk of you this month.这个月他们经常谈到你。）
