一：重点词汇。
1. tall
用法】adj. 高的，既可以指人的身高高，也可以表示物体高大。
举例】she is a tall girl. 她是个高个子女孩。
i live in a tall building. 我住在一幢高楼里。
拓展】1) 用于形容人的词语： tall—medium—short(height高度); thin—medium—he**y(build体型); 2) 辨析tall 与 high：tall 常指人、树、建筑等的“高”，但不指山的“高”，反义词是short：
(a tall man/tree/building一个高个子男人、一棵高大的树、一幢高楼); high 多指物体或位置的高，还可以指抽象意义上的高（物价、速度、温度、品质、评价）和山的高，但不指人的高，反义词是low: a high mountain 一座高山 high standards 高标准。

2. stop
用法】v. 停止、终止。
搭配】stop doing sth. 停止做某事，指停止正在做的事情、不做了。（we stopped talking. 我们停止了说话。）
stop to do sth 停下来做某事，指停止原来做的事、开始做另一件事（we stopped to talk.我们停下来，说话了。）
3. person
用法】n. 人、人物。
举例】this person is of medium height.这个人中等身高。
拓展】辨析person、 people 与 man：1) person无性别之分，复数；persons常用于数目不太大，而且数目比较精确的场合（there are only three persons in the room.）;2) people 泛指人们，表示复数概念，the people 表示人民；表示民族：
a people 一个民族 many peoples 许多民族。
4. remember
用法】v. 牢记、记住、想起反义词：forget
搭配】remember doing sth 记得做过某事，表示已经做了（i remember telling you about it. 我记得告诉过你这件事了。）
remember to do sth 记得要做某事，表示还没做（remember to turn off the lights when you le**e the classroom. 当你离开教室时，记得关灯。）
举例】i can’t remember his name. 我记不起他的名字了。
5. nobody
用法】pron.没有人、没人（不定代词），作主语时，谓语动词用单数。
举例】there is nobody in the room. 屋里没有人。
nobody knows me.没有人认识我。
拓展】常见的不定代词：everyone 人人 someone 某人 anyone 任何人。
no one 没有人 everyone 每人 somebody 某人。
anybody 任何人 nobody 没有人 everything 每件事。
something 某事 anything 任何事 nothing 什么也没有。
其中everyone/everybody/someone/somebody 用于肯定句中；anyone/ anybody 用于否定或疑问句中。

a little 有点儿（today is a little/a bit/ a little bit cold. 今天有点冷。）
a bit of= a little有点，后跟不可数名词 （there is a little/a bit of water in the glass. 杯子里有点水。）

no more = not...any more 表示数量和程度上的“不再增加”，通常修饰终止性动词（the baby watched and listened, and she cried no more. 那个婴儿看着、听着，不再哭了。
）no longer = not...any longer 表示时间或距离上的不再延长，通常修饰延续性动词，多指现在情况与过去的相比，故常用与现在时态中（mr. wang no longer lives here.
王先生不住在这儿了。）
15. one of中的一个（one of +可数名词复数形式，谓语动词用单数）
