unit1 can you play the guitar?

can的特点:1.后面必须跟动词原形。

2.没有人称和数的变化。

3.变否定直接加not(can’t),变疑问句直接提前。

can的用法:1.表示能力 :i can play basketball.

2. 表示请求,允许:can you help me? /can i play computer games?

3.表示推测: he can’t be at home. he went to beijing yesterday.

join 加入组织,成为组织的一员,加入某人:join the army 参军/join the art club/ join us

join in =take part in 参加活动 join in the basketball game

be in 参加一次性的活动 you can be in our music festival.

the swimming club / the story telling club

tell stories =tell a story讲故事 write stories= write a story写故事。

tell sb about sth告诉某人关于某事。

tell sb sth=tell sth to sb告诉某人某事。

tell sb to do sth 告诉某人干某事

tell sb not to do sth告诉某人不要干某事。

be good at sth / doing sth==do well in sth/ doing sth 擅长某事/干某事。

i am good at english.= i do well in english.

he is good at playing soccer.= he does well in playing soccer.

be good with sb ==get on well with sb善于与某人相处,与某人相处的好。

are you good with your classmates?=do you get on well with your classmates?

be good for 对。有好处。

vegetables are good for our health.

talk to sb对某人说(一人说,一人听)talk with sb 与某人谈话(两人都说)

talk about sth 讨论某事。

say 强调说的内容 speak 说某种语言 tell 告诉 talk to / with sb (about sth)

show 名词(表演)

动词 (展示) show sb sth=show sth to sb 向某人展示某物。

如果宾语都是代词,只能使用show sth to sb (show it to me)

乐器前必须使用定冠词the , 球类前不加修饰词。

also 也: be动词、助动词、情态动词之后,实义动词前。

too : 句末,通常逗号隔开。

either: 句末,用于否定句。

help (sb) with sth在某方面帮助某人=help sb do sth =help sb to do sth帮助某人干某事。

english-speaking students说英语的学生 english- speaking coutry说英语的国家。

make friends with sb 与某人交朋友。

are you free?= do you h**e any time?你有空吗?

on weekend = at weekend 在周末。

teach sb sth 教某人某事(teaches) teach us chinese

同: 都可以对具体的时间点提问: what time / when do you get up?

异: what time 可以询问几点了: what time is it? =what’s the time?

when 可以询问日期: when is your birthday?

时间的表达法:

整点:5:00 five o’clock = five

5:10 顺读: five ten 逆读: ten past five (分钟数小于等于30分,用past)

5:15 顺读: five fifteen 逆读:a quarter past five

5:30 顺读: five thirty 逆读: half past five

5:40 顺读: five forty 逆读:twenty to six(分钟数大于30,用to , 钟点数要加1个小时)

5:45 顺读:five forty-five 逆读:a quarter to six

job 可数名词,表示有报酬的工作 a job / jobs

work 不可数名词,表示体力或脑力劳动,抽象的工作。

work还可用作动词 he works at a radio station.

on school days / on school nights

exercise 动词锻炼 he exercises every morning.

不可数名词锻炼 do exercise 做锻炼

可数名词体操, 练习 do morning exercises , do eye exercises

time 常与介词for 连用, 可与to do 转换。

that’s a funny time for breakfast.==that’s a funny time to h**e breakfast.

it’s time for english class. =it’s time to h**e english class.

频率副词never, seldom, sometimes, often, usually , always在句子中的位置:

be动词、助动词、情态动词的后面,实义动词的前面。 对频率副词提问,用how often

he sometimes plays the piano. how often does he play the piano.

许多,大量:much 修饰不可数名词 many 修饰可数名词。

lots of ==a lot of 既可以修饰不可数名词,又可以修饰可数名词。

half an hour 半个小时 an hour 一个小时 one and a half hours 一个半小时。

for +时间段表示干一件事干了多久,对它划线提问用how long

i often watch tv for two hours. how long do you often watch tv?

homework 为不可数名词 my homework is very difficult.

either...or...要么。要么。连接两个名词作主语,谓语使用就近原则。

either you or i am right.

taste尝起来,系动词,后接形容词构成系表结构 the cake tastes good.

life 生活,生命(名词) -lives(复数)

live a happy life过着幸福的生活。

before / after 介词,后面接动词,要使用ing形式。

you must brush your teeth before going to bed.

i eat an apple after h**ing lunch.

对交通方式提问,用how

对时间段提问,用how long ,how long 还可以对物体的长度提问:how long is your desk?

对距离提问,用how far

i walk to school.= i go to school on foot.

i ride a bike to school.= i go to school by bike.= i go to school on my bike.
