3.借用borrow sth. from sb.

keep v. (kept)借多久,延续性v.通常和“for +一段时间连用。

could 表示can的过去式,表示过去的能力。对其一般疑问句的回答仍用could。

小结】用于第二人称,表示委婉地提出请求。常用句型为“could you (please意为“(请)你做好吗?”。

用于第一人称,表示希望得到对方的许可。常用句型为。

could i意为“我可以做吗?”。

肯定回答用:yes, you can./ yes, please.

否定回答用:sorry, you can’t./ i’m afraid you can’t.
