八年级英语期末复习。

课程解读。一、学习目标:

1. 知识目标:掌握本讲的单词、短语、句型和语法。

2. 情感目标:帮助同学们在英语学习中认识自我,建立自信心,沉着迎接考试。

重点:复习本学期的重点单词、短语、句型和语法。

难点:语法:

1. 可数名词与不可数名词;

2. 一般过去时;

3. be going to用法。

三、知能提升:

一)重点单词。

单词复习]1. win 与beat

win意为“赢得、获胜”,其宾语为比赛的项目或奖品等。

beat意为“击败、打败”,其宾语为参加比赛的组织、团体或个人等。

2. because 与because of

because用作连词,引导原因状语从句。because of是介词短语,其后接名词、代词或动名词。

3)my father didn’t go to work because he had a sore back.(改为同义句)

3. called

called 是一个过去分词,其在句子中作定语修饰名词。called意为“叫作……”也可用named来代替。

4. make 与do “做”法各异。

这两个单词都有“做”的意思。当我们说做某事时,常用do来表达;make则含有“制造”、“制作”和“准备”的含义。

make和do还有一些不同的习惯搭配,如:do some reading/ shopping / cleaning / cooking “读书/购物/打扫卫生/做饭”,do one’s best“尽某人最大努力”, do well in“在……方面做得好”,do one’s homework“做家庭作业”,make a mistake“犯错”,make money“挣钱”,make the bed “整理床铺”,make a telephone call“打**”,make friends with sb.“与……交朋友”等。

此外,do还常用作助动词,用来构成疑问句或否定句。make则常用“make+宾语+动词原形”结构,意为“使;让……做……”

5. borrow, lend和keep “借”法不同。

borrow意为“借入”,通常与介词from 连用,构成短语borrow sth. from sb.意为“从某人那里借某物”;lend表示“借出”,通常与介词to连用,构成短语lend sth.

to sb.,意为“把某物借给某人”;keep的本意是“保存”,可表示“借……一段时间”。

短语复习]1. turn up, turn down, turn on, turn off, open, close

2. at the end与in the end

at the end of…可用来表示时间,意思是“在……结束的时候”,其反义词组是at the beginning of…。还可用来表示地点,意思是“在……的尽头”。

in the end意为“最后,终于”,相当于at last或finally。

3. at the age of…

是一个用来表示年龄的介词短语,意为“在……岁时”,相当于“when…years old”。

4. too…to…

意为“太……而不能……”该结构形式上是肯定的,但意义上是否定的。其中,too意为“太,过于”,其后需接形容词或副词,to为不定式符号,其后接动词原形。

5. take part in 与join

take part in通常指参加某一项活动,如比赛、会议等。join指加入某党派、团体、群体、组织等并成为其中的一员。

三)重点句型

句型复习]could you please + 动词原形…? 与could i + 动词原形…?

前一句型在英语口语中常用来表示请求别人做某事,后一句型用来表示请求别人允许自己做某事。这种由could引导的一般疑问句,作肯定回答时常用:yes, sure.

/ certainly. /yes, (do) please. /of course (you can).

with pleasure. /go ahead, please.等;作否定回答时常用:

certainly not. /sorry, i can’t. /i’m afraid you can’t.

/i’m sorry, but…等。

注意:答语中要避免重复使用could。此外,一般不说no, you can’t. ,因为这样显得不礼貌。

四)重点语法

语法复习]1. “可数名词”、“不可数名词”&“how many与how much”

how many与how much都可用于询问数量的多少,但how many 后接可数名词复数;how much后接不可数名词。另外,询问物品的**时,常用how much(多少钱)。
