一、教材分析。
该部分是第二单元第二个话题的sectiona，将进一步谈论人物的外貌特征，并引入辨别颜色这一新内容。通过引导学生注意结合色彩观察生活中人物的外貌特征，引导学生关注生活中人物的细节，以便更好地与人相处。本课的教学内容与学生实际生活密切相关，易于激发学生运用简单的英语进行交际和交流的兴趣。
二、学情分析。
我所教学对象为初一新生，他们对英语普遍感兴趣，但有很大的不稳定性，他们好奇心强，求知欲旺盛，对学习初中英语既感到好奇而又担忧，希望能得到他人的肯定。因此在教学活动中我努力创设与课文相符的生活情境，让学生能学以致用。并通过学生间的小组合作学习，减少他们的恐惧感，降低他们的学习难度。
在教学过程中注重运用过程性评价，鼓励他们参与到课堂活动中。三、教学目标1.知识与技能。
1).重点单词：black, blue, pink, red, purple, brown, white, green, yellow,gray, blond，color.
2).重点短语：look the same, don’t look the same(=look different)
3).重点句型及交际用语：①.what color is it?it’s pink.
. what color are they?they’re pink.③.but you look the same.

情感与态度。
1).鼓励学生把课堂上所学知识与自身生活联系，培养学生热爱生活，积极向上的情感态度；
2).培养学生学好英语的信心，鼓励学生积极参与，敢于模仿，克服不愿或羞于开口的心理。3.文化意识。
1).对不同肤色人种不歧视，公平对待；(2).了解不同国家对颜色的禁忌。四、教学重难点。
1、重点：正确拼读本课单词，能流利的运用颜色词谈论人物的外貌特征，培养学生说的技能。
2、难点：(1)what color is…?what color are…?这两个句型的回答。
