二．了解“家谱”的作用与意义并绘制自己的家谱。
课中导学】一． pre-task presentation

二．while-task procedure
1. ask students to observe the “family tree” and try to tell the relationship of them.
2. judge the following statements “t” or “f”.
wendy is florence’s grandmother.
kevin is gary’s grandfather.

3. listen to two short conversations between family members. then circle the correct answers to the questions you hear.
4. read a post and learn the words “invite” and “cost”.
5. play the record and fill the following form and check the answers.

jenny: no, thanks. i’m ok.
ann: if you want, i could sweep the floor/clean the windows.
jenny: oh, that would be good./ thanks a lot, but i can do it.
