一、教材分析。
本单元以“交友”为话题，在这一单元里，学生们将学习用英语问候别人，做自我介绍，结识新朋友，以及询问对方和告知自己的**号码。本单元的内容与学生们的日常生活息息相关。在第一部分中主要运用hello！
nice to meet you. what’s your name? my name is … 等交际用语来询问和问候。
第二部分学生将通过一系列的活动来学习和练习形容词性物主代词my, his, her, your以及名字的表达方式。第三部分学生将通过句型what’s your/his/her telephone number? my/his/ her number is … it’s … 来询问对方和告知自己的**号码并学习zero-nine九个数字。
本单元的主要语法是动词be的用法，形容词性物主代词及what引导的特属疑问句。学习了本单元后，学生们将了解中西方“姓名”的差异，并学会如何礼貌地与西方人交流。
二、学情分析。
衔接1班共有学生39名，绝大部分学生基础不好，对英语知识的掌握大多只停留在零星的单词上，基础句型掌握不好，英语学习是从头开始。在教学中应多注重对学生学习习惯和方法的培养，以教材为主。
