一．过去完成时(past perfect)
1）表示在过去某一时刻或动作以前完成了的动作，即“过去的过去”。可以用by, before等介词短语或一个时间状语从句来表示，例如： by nine o’clock last night, we had gotten 200 pictures from the spaceship
(2) 表示由过去的某一时刻开始，一直延续到过去另一时间的动作或状态，常和for, since构成的时间状语连用。 例如： i had been at the bus stop for 20 minutes when a bus came.

二．时间状语从句。
用表示时间的连词连接一个句子作状语，这样的主从复合句就是时间状语从句。 引导时间状语从句连词有when（当……时），while（在……期间），as（当……，一边……一边……）before（在……之前），after（在……之后），since（从……以来），till/until（直到），whenever（无论何时），as soon as（一……就）等。
when i went into the classroom, he was reading. 当我走进教室时他正在看书。 he read a news***** as he went along.
他边走边看报纸。
这里要注意一点的是，如果主句是一般将来时，从句只能用一般现在时表示将来意义。
1.在你离开之前，请关闭电灯。
2.每天直到写完作业，他才会**睡觉。
3.直到到达学校，他才意识到把书包忘记在家了。
4.我正在看电视，这时**铃响了。
5.当我正在购物时，ufo在商店门前降落了。
6.当妈妈在做早饭的时候，我弟弟在玩电脑。
7.自从来到上海，我一直在这所学校学习。
8.无论何时我看到他，我都会帮你捎个口信儿。
三．用法。1). marry sb 嫁、娶某人 (瞬间)
她嫁给了一个诚实的人。
2). get /be married 结婚了（get married暂短性 be married延续性）
他已经结婚三年了。
3).get /be married to sb
tom 已经和marry结婚了。
四．so…….that……,such……that…….
so + adj + a/an + n (单数)+that…= such + a/an +adj + n (单数)+that…
such +adj +可数名词复数+that…
such+adj+不可数名词+that…
so+few / many+可数名词复数 so + little / much + 不可数名词
