电气控制专业英语》课程是电气自动化专业的专业必修课。其任务是使学生在获得外语技术的同时也提高自身的专业素养。
学生通过本课程的学习，可以掌握一定的英语知识，同时更加能够掌握一定的专业英语知识，初步具备阅读自动化技术外语专业文献的能力，具备专业英语分析能力。
1、掌握科技英语的特点。
2、熟练翻译相关专业英语。
大学英语》、《电路基础》、《模拟电子线路》、《数字电子线路》
3、采用联系生活实际的案例教学，加深工程的理解。
考核方式：笔试、开卷，考试时间为120分钟，试卷总分为100分；
总评成绩由平时实践过程考核成绩和考试成绩两部分构成，二者各占50%，其中，平时实践过程考核成绩包括出勤、作业、课堂表现、专业英语实践等。
使用教材】《电气控制专业英语》第一版，李国厚，2006，北京师范大学出版社。
参考书目】《自动控制专业英语》，沈宏，2003，电子工业出版社。
