语法归纳：if引导的条件状语从句。
条件状语从句是在复合句中作条件状语的句子，表示假如有从句的动作发生就会有主句的动作发生。条件状语从句常有从属连词if引导。
一、位置。if引导的条件状语从句，既可放在主句之前也可放在主句之后。当从句置于主句之前时，常用逗号与主句隔开。
you will catch the bus if you get up early= if you get up early, you will catch the bus.
二、时态。遵循主、从句时态呼应的原则。
1. 如果主句是一般将来时，if从句则用一般现在时代替一般将来时。（主将从现原则）
if it rains tomorrow, i will stay at home.
i’ll go with you if you don’t want to go alone next week. 如果下周你不想一个人去，我将陪你去。
2. 如果主句中含有must, may, can, should 等情态动词，if从句用一般现在时。
if you drive too fast, you may h**e an accident.
you must stop if the traffic lights are red.
3. 如果主句是祈使句，if从句用一般现在时。
don’t go to play football if you don’t finish your homework.
please give him this note if you see him. 如果你见到他，请把这个便条给他。
三、注意事项。
1. 在if引导的条件状语从句中，当主句是一般将来时，不能够使用be gong to 结构，而要用will。
i’ll help you with your english if i am free tomorrow.
2. 在if引导的条件状语从句中不能够使用some，而要用any。
if you h**e any questions to ask, please come to my office. 如果你有问题要问的话，请到我办公室来。
四、同义句转换。
if引导的条件状语从句，可以转换成简单句，其方法如下：
1. 借助“祈使句+and/ or + 简单句”，其中and表示句意顺承，or表示表示转折。
work hard, and you’ll pass the exam. =if you work hard, you’ll pass the exam.
work hard, or you’ll fall behind others. =if you don’d work hard, you’ll fall behind others.
2. 借助介词with 或without来转换。
if you help me, i’ll finish my job soon. =with your help, i’ll finish my job soon.
如果你帮我，我将很快完成我的工作。
if there is no water, fish may die. =fish may die without water. 如果没有水，鱼可能会死。

should 的用法。
1. 用法：should用作情态动词，意为：“应该”，其后跟动词原形，用来表示义务和责任。
we should obey the traffic rules. 我们应该遵守交通规则。
2. 否定句：should的否定句要在should后直接加not，可缩写为shouldn’t。
you shouldn’t smoke in the hospital. 你不应该在医院里吸烟。
3. 一般疑问句：should 的一般疑问句要把should提前。
