step 1 lead-in
**歌曲 “how is the weather?”，以此来复习section a学到的知识，并激发学生的兴趣。
step 2 revision
show some pictures. students make dialogues according to the picture by using the following sentence patterns.
what’s she/he doing? —she/he is …ing.
step 3 presentation
1. students listen to the tape and answer the following questions:
1). where are they?
2). how is the weather?
学生带着问题去听，问题简单，增加学生信心)
2. students read the text by themselves and then answer the following questions.
1) what are the people doing?
2) are the people relaxed?
3. students read the text aloud and then finish 3a.
4. language points. teacher explains the difficult points to make students understand the text better.
then teacher give students some practice about these language points.
