数词与中考。
数词分为“基数词”和“序数词”，基数词用来表“数量”，序数词用来表“顺序”。构成规律如下：
一、 基数词1至12是独立单词，13至19均以“teen”结尾，“几十”的整十数均以“ty”结尾；序数词由基数词变成，一般在基数词后加“th”，牢记下面口诀：基变序、有规律，词尾加上“th”；一、二、三特殊记，词尾字母t或d；八减t、九去e、f来把ve替；单词ty作结尾，ty先改tie；若是碰到几十几，只变个位就可以。
二、 基数词的用法：表准确数目时，hundred, thousand , million都不用复数，如：two thousand ；表示不准确数目时，hundred , thousand , million的复数形式与of连用，如：
hundreds of workers(数百工人) 基数词用来表年代，如：2023年，twenty o two 或者说 two thousand and two表时间，如：9:
00 nine o’clock 10:15 a quarter past ten 编号，简单的编号可用基数词或者序数词表示，复杂的编号多作基数词表示，如：第一课 lesson one 或 the first lesson 第147面 page 147 读作page one four seven 或page one hundred and forty-seven表温度及比赛比分等，如：
the temperature will be 2-9 . 读作two to nine ） 2:1 读作two to one
三、 序数词前常用定冠词“the”，但以下三种情况不用the，序数词前有物主代词或名词的所有格时，序数词前不用the ，如：lily’s second pen 。序数词的意义为“another”时，序数词前不用the,常用a / an ，如：
you’d better try a second time . 你最好再试一次。谈论考试、比赛获得的名次时，序数词前常不用the，如：
who was second in the high jump? 跳高谁第二名？
四、 基数词与序数词的合用：表示年份、日期时，年份用基数词，日期用序数词，如：2023年读作 nineteen ninety-seven , 9月10日 september 10th , 读作 september (the) tenth 或 the tenth of september , 2023年10月8日可写为 october 8(th) ,1998 ( october the eighth , nineteen ninety-eight ) 或 8(th) october 1998 (the eighth of october , nineteen ninety-eight ).
表分数时，分子用基数词，分母用序数词。当分子大于1时，分母的序数词后加s 。如：
1/2 读a half / one half , 2/3 读作 two thirds
