知识清单】 可数名词和不可数名词的用法。
英语中的名词指的是一种抽象的或者具体的事物，它有可数和不可数之分。所谓可数名词指的就是在数量上可以计数，可以数出数量的事物；所谓不可数名词是指不能以数目来计算，不可以分成个体的概念、状态、品质、感情或表示物质材料的东西。
（1）区分名词可数和不可数，可以在名词前加一个基数词，看是否合理。合理，则为可数名词；不合理，则为不可数名词。
five apples 意为“五个苹果”，很显然apple是可数名词。
seven tea 意为“七个茶”，明显不合情理，因此tea为不可数名词。
（2）有些名词，既可作可数名词，也可作不可数名词，但意思就有很大的差别。
fish表示“鱼的条数和种类”时，是可数；表示“鱼肉或熟鱼”时，则是不可数。
chicken表示“鸡、小鸡”时，是可数；表示“鸡肉”时，则是不可数。
orange表示“橘子“时，是可数；表示“橘汁”时，是不可数。
目前，我们学过的不可数名词有：drink，juice，milk，orange，water，tea，coffee，food，bread，rice，meat，work，time，money等。
① 不可数名词是不能直接用来计数得名词，所以不可数名词一般只有单数形式，没有复数形式，且不可数名词前不能直接用不定冠词a/an或基数词来修饰，但可以用some，any，much等表示不具体数量的词来修饰。
② 当不可数名词作主语时，谓语动词必须用单数形式。
there is some coffee in the glass. 杯子里有些咖啡。
③ 若要表达不可数名词的数量，应构成“计量名词 + of + 不可数名词”形式。虽然不可数名词无复数形式，但要注意计量名词复数变化。

同时，可数名词也有相应用法，如：a box of apples 一箱苹果 six boxes of apples 六箱苹果。
