dead, dying和 death
四者均与死相关，但词性和用法不同。
1） die强调 “死”的动作，属于短暂性动词，不能和一段时间连用。
2）dead强调的是“死”的状态，意为“死的，无生命的”，是个形容词。
3） dying是die的现在分词，也可作形容词，表示“垂死的，将死的”。
4）death是die的名词。
如“那个老人已去世三天了”不能说 the old man died for three days.
但可以这样表达：1 the old man died three days ago.
2 the old man has been dead for three days.
3 three days has passed since the old man died.
