一、教学目标。
1、知识目标。
能听懂、会说good afternoon. nice to meet you . nice to meet you too.
会听、说mum.
2、能力目标。
能够在实际情境中运用这些语句，语调正确、自然。
3、情感目标。
激发学生学习兴趣，培养礼貌待人、按时问候的好习惯。
二、教学重点、难点。
1、重点：good afternoon. nice to meet you . nice to meet you too.的朗读。
2、难点：afternoon单词的认读。
三、课前准备。
1.按照课本的样子，准备学生演情景剧的道具（bag 、mike、 wu yifan 、mike’s mother 的头饰）.
2.录音机。
3.能表示下午的**。
四、教学过程。
step 1. warming up
a chant .
2. let’s do .
listen to the teacher and do the actions .
t: show me green .
3. free talk in groups.

设计意图】用歌曲、歌谣和tpr活动充分调动学生的情绪，使学生在轻松的氛围中复习学过的知识，从而进入最佳学习状态。
step 2. presentation and practice.
“nice to meet you . nice to meet you too.”
t: today, we h**e a new friend, mike’s mother. (show mike’s mother’s picture to the ss and say) this is mike’s mother.
教师带上mike’s mother的头饰，扮演mike’s mother。
创设一个情景，跟学生介绍有一天他们第一次带新同学回家的情景。老师带上围裙做出炒菜的动作，让学生猜是什么角色。引导学生回答是“妈妈”，引出新词“mum”(带学生读几遍)。
找学生a and b扮演mike、 wu yifan。
mike ：hi，mum. this is wu yifan。
wu yifan：good mornng。
mum : good morning , wu yifan. nice to meet you .
学生初次接受nice to meet you . 教师此处可让学生猜一猜这句话的意思，教师可提示他们是第一次见面，或提示 nice 和meet的意思。
教师同时可以和学生握手来表示这句话的意思。 学生迟疑地说出nice to meet you.
t: hello . nice to meet you.
s: nice to meet you.
如此对话尝试四五个学生后，板书，让学生跟读。 教师要特别注意meet you的连读。
t: 我说很高兴见到你，你可以说“nice to meet you.”，但如果你说“nice to meet you.
，too.”会更好，因为它表示我也很高兴见到你。 教师继续用刚才的方法训练孩子说nice to meet you，too.
教师此时可以用“**车”的方法让学生练习这个对话。
mike ： hi，mum. this is wu yifan。
wu yifan： good morning。
mum : good morning , wu yifan. nice to meet you .
wu yifan： nice to meet you, too.
1. teach “good afternoon”
教师出示下午的**，对比上午的**，教授good afternoon..学生跟读。教师可采用猜猜猜的游戏，让学生猜一猜现在是什么时间，该怎么问候，练习good morning 和good afternoon。
2. play the tape，first，ss listen and then repeat two times.

step4: consolidation and extension
情景剧表演。学生三人一组表演本课重点对话。（要带头饰）
mike ： hi，mum. this is wu yifan。
wu yifan： good afternoon。
mum : good afternoon, wu yifan. nice to meet you .
wu yifan： nice to meet you, too.
教师可根据学生表演的情况，评出几名表演最好的小组，给予stickers 的奖励。既激发了学生的学习兴趣，(因为想得奖)，又体现了学生小组合作的意识。
step5. homework
听对话录音。
给你的朋友介绍一位新朋友，促进学生练习这个对话。
