展示一张中国地图给学生，四个城市的标志性建筑，做“guess”游戏。

师做cold动作，并点课件，出示单词及声音。t: follow it.
各组抽一生跟读录音，并请读得好的当老师教其它学生t: who can read and follow.

师拿出单词卡教读全班t：c-o-l-d , cold .
师叫一组的名字，那组就一起读t：beijing...s: cold ,cold .
师边拍手边做动作，抽生进行操练。t: cold ,cold ,it’s cold.
4）拿出风扇，用表情及动作表现出很舒服的样子，出示coolt: cool ,cool!
点课件，让学生跟读。t：follow it.
出示单词卡，全班齐读，小组齐读，再抽学生读t：c-o-o-l ,cool //cool
师边拍手边做动作，男女生交替进行操练。t: cool , cool,it’s read it. girls read it.
5)拼读cool, cold, hot ,再读cool , cold.然后师交叉出示cool, cold ,请学生进行区分认读cool与cold.
6)将cool与cold换成warm的**，先让学生感受warm的意义，老师再出示warm的单词。t: follow it.
师出示warm单词卡，强调“m //的发音。用“高低声”进行操。

练。全班、各组进行操练，完后，再各组抽学生进行操练。7）“拍手”游戏，复习四个单词，将一个表示拍手的卡片放在单词中间与单词一起依次出示，当出现这张卡时就拍手。
既巩固新学的单词，又集中了学生的注意力。
8）点课件出示香港很热的图，再出示it’s hot in hong look at the picture.

同样的方式出示另外三个句子。it’s cold in cool in in beijing.
全班齐读后，请各组齐读各个句子。
设计意图：词不离句，让学生将本课时重点单词和句型相联系。）9)出示天气预报片花，讲解weather let’s watch the weather is the weather me：
weather report
weather与report的发音都较难，分别教读。教读weather时，提醒学生注意ea //th //的发音，与egg/elephant和father/mother的发音进行对比。
请一组用快速“**车”的方式进行拼读。

11）将weather与report快速交替出示给学生，学生跟着出示的单词快速读ss: weatherreportweather report.
师指weather report**说t: this is the weather report.
出示这句话，师教读，再男女生分别操练后，抽小组及个别生读。12）跟读**有关天气预报的句子t：read and follow.
ss: good morning. this is the weather report.
it's cool in lhasa.(学生跟读录音，可以自己纠正发音)13)让学生自己练习有关天气预报的句子。

师拿出小棒扮演天气预报员，再让生上台模仿老师扮演天气预报员。
